i have not noticed anyone else with this problem, but if i have any other mods (even those that do not add new blocks, like rei's minimap) installed, then it runs out of terrain sprites. if i remove my other mods, it loads an plays worlds fine, but when i attempt to create a new one, mc sticks on the converting world screen. help would be appreciated

HELP ME! I dont know if this is a bug or anything, but with rei's minimap sometimes my world goes back alooot from were i ended playing.
Havent tried this mod without rei's minimap, so i dont know if its the same without. HELP!!

The absolute best Biome mod as far as I'm concerned. I like nothing more than generating new maps and flying around to check out all the awesome random terrain. I've encountered the 'stops generating' bug a lot, though. If there's anything I can do to help pinpoint it - Any reports I can generate or such, please let me know. Otherwise, this is fantastic. Please keep up the good work.
One thing I did notice is that maybe 90% of the time when generation stops, the game had just generated a volcano biome. Perhaps the calculating of all that flowing lava is futzing up the generation? Just a theory.

But i've noticed something .. If i use OptiFine with this, the dark leaves in Autumn generated worlds aint there.. Only yellow and green.. The reddish color is simply replaced by the green one.. I dont know if Optifine could have anything to do with it ?
It's a problem with OptiFine. For some reason, hard-coded colors for biomes don't work on vanilla blocks like leaves and grass, because of the way OptiFine handles it. However, they work on the willow vines and whatnot.

Like the mod, just looks like a revamped extra biomesxl though, better biomes but requires modloader.... which should i use extrabiomexl or this
It's not just a "revamped ExtraBiomes XL." It has twice the amount of biomes for one.
As for which one to use, if mod compatibility and customization is your main concern, use ExtraBiomes XL. If you don't use any other mods and don't care about not being about to choose what biomes you want, use this.
Basically, what it comes down to, is ExtraBiomes XL for compatibility/customization, and Biomes O' Plenty for more/better biomes.
And this is why I will leave this page without looking back. So rude.
