for some reason i cant find a tree that grows frut i had biomes o plenty for 1.5-1.7 and i loved the appletrees and berry bushes when will you add them
i just cant play minecraft without a fully compleat version of ;biomes o plenty,world edit, or backpacks mod i love this mod but its not done yet pleas finish mod for 1.9.4 soon =( not having this mod makes me cry at night
I'd been playing an SMP world with 35 mods (without BOP) for two days and no issues. I saw BOP available an hour ago, stating it worked with 1.9.4 and 1.10.2, so I put the newest (1.9.4-1.4.1) BOP in a 1.10.2 SSP MC test world, using all the same mods that ran fine 2 days in SMP w/o BOP, and within 2 minute of launching the SSP world it crashed. The crash report doesn't have a smoking gun mod I can recognize in the backtrace, it seems to just be referring to RederGlobal.func.
Steps I took to cause it:
I used the crystal ball from MCA 5.2.0 and set myself up. (male liking females, chose to create a village with it) I walked through the village a few steps. The crash happened when I walked into the cemetery in the village. I was about to right click on a tombstone to read what it said when the SSP world crashed.
It very well could be coincidental, so if you determine BOP was unrelated, I apologize for wasting time. I have used the same steps in the past and not gotten a crash. I created the 'village' this time in a BOP biome and this is the first such crash.
Update: I just realized the crash report referred to my Intel 4K graphics chip. I'm willing to bet that's probably the culprit. The laptop I run has both an NVidia and an Intel GPU in it, and occasionally I'll launch MC sloppily and accidentally get the 4K, with terrible performance, and often render crashes. I'm loading it up in NVidia mode and will do some repro work.

* Happened in nVidia mode also, doing the same thing. (looking at tombstones)
* I'll take BOP out and test without it. If the problem remains, I'll delete or note this message as such, with a significant mea-culpa.

can someone who is still running version 1.8 check the pine trees (may be newer versions not sure as i am still stuck in the past ) .... for some reason i could not find them in any of the biomes ...in creative i do actually have the sapling and wood , planks ect but getting it this way takes all the time and fun out of actually finding them and chopping them down i did however plant one sapling to see what it looked like maybe thinking i missed them .. added bone meal and it grew into an oak tree instead of a pine tree ... so i knew then i had an issue :/ other then this the biomes are awesome

Yes, it works for 1.10 as well obviously. We don't have an actual 1.10 version, because 1.10 mods are not backwards compatible with 1.9.4 (Yet 1.9.4 is forwards compatible with 1.10)
* Give saplings to the trees that use generic wood/leaves. Keep the base wood but give the leaves/saplings special attention (for instance, temperate rainforest trees drop "Rainforest oak saplings". Unless the developer is making a statement about old growth forests or something.
* Mix and match more trees/decorator plants to other biomes. Pines should show up in regular forests and extreme hills, ebony should show up in regular saharas, cattails and reeds should be in basically every temperate body of water etc etc. Blurring the lines between biomes would do well to make this mod more cohesive.
* Mangroves should be able to be planted in shallow water.
I would love to see these kinks unkinked. Otherwise I am pleased as a peach with this mod, especially the pre-gen options. Temperature and rainfall gradients are fantastic.

Regarding the first issue, it's something that's been brought up a lot in the past, and I think it's something that would make sense for the mod. We have a lot of other stuff that still needs to be re-added first though, and our main programmer is fairly busy, so I can't comment on whether or not it'll happen.
The second issue, that's not something I want to do. I want biomes to feel unique for the most part, and doing that will only make more biomes feel too similar to one another. I also don't want to change vanilla biomes too much.
As for mangrove saplings, we'd have to add some kind of special block for that, and it's really not worth the effort honestly.
When you place or break the doors, they make stone sounds instead of wood sounds. Also, am I not supposed to be able to walk on flesh blocks? I know you can't change this because it's the 1.9.4 version, but it's strange having 2 bone blocks. Oh, and there is nothing on the second page in the settings for the world.

please can someone tell me what biomes do the pine trees generate ? or if there is an issue in 1.8 where they dont generate at all .... i am still at a loss on them i checked the wikia it states grasslands ( there is not one single tree of any type ), Coniferous (only fir ) and Spruce Forest ( mainly just spruce ) i am making a village in the dead forest and i like the pine it goes good with the dead wood logs for a gloomy dead forest feel i mentioned before that i also tried to grow a pine tree from a sapling in creative mode with bone meal ( really hate that method as it takes out the fun and time actually forging for materials ) and it changed to a full grown oak tree instead .... and beings i traveled all that distance to find a pine i ended up using fir and that wood is weak i try removing one misplaced block and end up taking out 4 in a row 0.o would also love to know how to change the hardness on that if possible cause it does look a lot nicer/gloomier then pine

The wood blocks sounded fine, just the doors were messed up. The doors actually make the sounds of stone in the game. Like, if you break or place them, it sounds like you're placing and breaking cobblestone or something.

It doesn't actually need to be updated, because the 1.9.4 version works on 1.10.2
Had a crash when I added BOP 1.9.4-1.4.1 to MC 1.10.2.
