When I install Thermal expansion with Ar's Magica in 1.5.2 I get this bug, where the empty energy cell are replaced with the lightning essence texture all around. and is called Lightning essence instead of Energy Cell.
can't wait for this mod to be updated to 1.6.X I really enjoyed it in 1.5.2, I've only experienced about half of what was offered so far and once it's updated to 1.6.X I can continue to enjoy it and try out all the stuff i had missed.
hi im experiencing a bug where the nexus WONT POWER ANYTHING!!! i have tried everything to fix it and yes there is power in it and yes the blocks are in range but its not powering any of the magic devices i place please help me
I use AM with Buildcraft with no issues, so it can't only be those two mods together. You have a lot of other mods I don't have though, including an addon for Buildcraft that I don't use. I looked through your error report, but I'm not good at reading them so I didn't spot anything I understood that points to the culprit.
Choenone40, in Creative mode reagent requirements are ignored, but in Survival casting on augmented requires reagents unless you've used an affinity tome for that affinity. Creative mode also ignores mana requirements.
Actually, I think the problem might be in the NEI addon for AM. Now that I think about it, mine crashed too when I added that. My solution was not to add that. It's been awhile since I tried it.
I have a few questions about adding in configuration options:
First, is it possible to add back in the old mana GUI back as an option? I find the new bar much more intrusive and out of place in comparison to the old circle above the experience bar.
Second, can you add in an option or an alternative to having to use essences to cast certain spells? I find it annoying to have to lug around lots of different essences just to cast a variety of spells.
If you are talking about my problem, then i'm pretty sure it's not an item ID conflict, since i would believe the game should have refused to start if that had been the case.
I can get it on video if you would prefer that to see exacly what's the problem, though i doubt it would be any more help than my earlier text description.

Item ID conflicts do not cause the game to crash; only block ID conflicts.
If you flip through the thread a little you will see why that is under excessively asked questions.

Reagents are less used in AM2 however, and the GUI is fully customizeable, as well as less intrusive.
Adfly is telling me the links are deleted. Is it possible for you to fix this, or is it a problem with adfly? Otherwise could you put up a non-adfly download up until the problem is sorted? I don't mind if you don't but I have been looking for a mod like this for ages.

That config value should have been removed - it was something I was trying and is not supported.
I cant seem to download this version of Ars Magica. It says that there is a problem loading page(via your Wuala Explorer). Is there too much traffic going on, and if so, could someone post an alternate download link?
EDIT: Seems to be working now. Traffic must have been allieviated.
If I do not reply to my posts, I either have no internet connection, or am busy with college work. Alternatively, I may be writing up the post now. It all depends on the situation.
