Hitting an enemy - Finds the closest block and opens a 20 blocks long, 10 blocks wide, and 20 blocks deep rip in the ground and does some shaky camera effect to go along with it. It will also randomly shift any blocks within a 15 block radius up or down by 1-3 blocks for good measure
Hitting a block does the same thing
The recipe should be 10 earth shifts up and 10 earth shifts down just in a crafting table.
This might take a little more coding

Hitting an enemy - will cause a small volcano to rise up underneath it then send lava (kinda like the tornado mod the lifts blocks and stuff) in a 20x20 radius and will do a small fire burst when it explodes. It should also be made out of smooth stone and cobble stone.
Hitting a block does the same thing.
The recipe should combine three of the fire ball, fire burst, and fire bolt and 4 earth shift ups just in a crafting table.
There should be some upgrades of these just making them twice as big

Please take the time to at least skim this topic before thinking it's overpowered and stupid. That's how I felt at first but this guy quickly showed how good his idea is.

Hecate looks amazing, so does the mana elemental, but all the other summoned minions just look so...

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
I don't know... can I suggest against new biomes? Even though you're adding in towers, I still don't really like the idea of making major modifications to world-gen... for the time being. New biomes when the faction arc comes around would be cool, though.

Unfortunately a number of bugs were introduced when some restructuring of the mod was made. But hey, beta is around for a reason.

Not sure of model plans. Bugs fixes are the priority right now. Focusing on stabilizing the gameplay before new functionality is added.
Will essence be expanded upon as development goes on?
EDIT: NEI doesn't work well with Ars Magica, but from what I gather that's an error with NEI itself. However, that got me thinking: Why doesn't someone make an NEI plugin for Ars Magica?
Or would that be OP and remove the discovery aspect of the mod? It could be for essence crafting only, or whoever made the plugin could do what Mistaqur did with Thaumcraft 2?

Thank you Mithion! I am ecstatic to do what I can for the Mod, this Mod has some of the best Magic Related abilities I have ever seen, I personally think with time, it will be better then Equivilant Exchange!

It won't be when I "fancy" a release. It's when the mod is stable and working as I intended it to. There are still bugs to fix, and I won't release this project until I'm good and satisfied with the result. Not before.
It's not going to be any fun for anyone if it's riddled with bugs. I take pride in my work, and this will be properly polished off before it gets out.
