i notice you were considering removing the printer in later versions. PLEASE don't its so handy for on servers compared to if you were gonna make it need a plugin.

LiteLoader does cause some issues, but I doubt that the schematic would be all blue.
Have you tried smaller schematics, containing basic vanilla blocks (dirt, cobble, stone, sand etc)? If it's still the same try to remove OF and/or LiteLoader. Also, a screenshot would be great, as I'm not sure what exactly the texture looks like.

will you make the possiblility of instead of creating a ghost, to move the house or structure somewhere else? not duplicating but moving it somewhere else or in another savegame?

No way to move things around saves. Best I can do is to enable a resource-less import of a schematic and deletion of the selection. Would be up to the player if he uses it or not.

Thanks for Schematica! I have been hoping for exactly this mod for a long time!
I had some texture issues with the version that I got late last month, but they were resolved in the current version. However, Schematica wasn't the only mod I updated, so I don't really know for sure where the problem lay. If memory serves, it was mostly the redstone blocks that looked strange.
EDIT: mattman00000 was right and I was wrong. I reduced alpha below 255 and the texture problems returned.

Looks neat... but what seems to be missing, from looking at the mod reviews... is visibility...
a good way to improve it, if it isn't in the mod already... would be to connect the 12 lines from the red and blue block so that you have an "outline" of what you're saving... or maybe just color all the blocks... or anything else that would make it easier to see the exact area you're saving...
also, visibility seems to be hard in all of the vids... maybe add an option to display just one Y layer at a time? so if you're building a huge redstone contraption you can display layer 1... build it, then layer 2... build that... and so on...
it would also be nice to see how it works with immibis microblocks... or the new forge "microblocks"... but except for that... yea... i wanted a mod like this for a long time... ever since buildcraft plans broke... since i like planning out stuff in SSP and then building them in SMP...
down the road it would be nice to add some way of displaying the materials needed to build the contraption... worst case, you can have a txt output in the schematic so users can manually look it up
Most of the features you listed are already in the mod (outlines, layer by layer, material screen). The only thing I'm not sure when and if it will be supported are microblocks. Depending on how hard it is to actually add support they might or might not be added (also, there is no official forge microblock afaik, only CB's api thing).
Hey, I try using the schematica mod, and it works pretty well, but I try making a largeish structure, and the blocks stay blue... I'm making an endergrinder, so it es me off to test if the block is there or not and fall into the void... Please help?

Hey, I'm not sure if this has been answered in the last 34 pages of comments but I was wondering how to get printer mode working on a server that has NoCheatPlus. Are there certain permissions I would have to give to my users that would allow block placement like that? If so, which ones? Also would it mean that I would have a bunch of people cheating given I would have to to give out certain permissions to make printer mode work.
I am only asking because I have tried printer mode on some Vanilla servers and even single-player and it works fine there but when I want to use it on my server - with permissions, it doesn't work, as if something is blocking it. Thanks in Advance ~ fauxiss
The only thing blocking it would be a place X blocks per Y seconds rule. I'm not too familiar with NoCheatsPlus, but I'll look into it later this weekend if I can.
The only problems I have been having is attempting to export multiplayer structures to schematics with other forgemods.
Enderchests have been annoying, as have some ic2/gregtech.
Is there anyway that instead of failing to save a block, you could use an unknown block, so worst comes to worst you at least managed to save the shape?
I believe the problem mainly lies with validating tile entities, I forked the project and commented out the tile entity checking, and it seems to fix the few problems I was having, its likely just hiding them, waiting for it to fail harder in the future however.
Though I do have one question: after some searching I saw you said you would add a 'toggle off' feature for the 1.6 version, to shut off schem'

I do have one question though: the printer, while a very good idea is rather slow for big schematics (I'm trying to copy a manor into a friend server) isn't there a way to print it all in one go?

haven't touched the printer since 1.5, maybe 1.4. Trying to work out other things at the moment.
