No. Servers can already disable parts of the mod, there is no need for a separate version.
Also, the block placement range is the same as the player range. Schematica does not change it.
The block place range of schematica is also behind the player…that is certainly wrong. Plus I found many ghost blocks when reloading a world because the blocks were being placed at just barely too great a distance.

I took down godzilla from the godzilla mod with vanilla gear and only lost ~17000 HP.
Is there a way to select a specific block type/material on a schematic (like dirt used for scaffolds) and auto-erase (that is, remove and transfer back to inventory) all placed blocks of that type?

Due to the large number of schemas (or test), forget the name of the open file. Offer to do something like this (in the picture) when working with the schema.
Could you add an option in the Config Render-Menu that allows you to see missplaced blocks through walls? Cuz when I use Schematica for building things I can‘t see how many blocks got wrong placed (I like to build by hand ) and that happens quite often to me
There is already a layer feature where you can see whats being placed , 1 layer at a time . There is Noclip and Adventure mode that allow you to walk through walls .
Well, I‘m using it on a plot-world server to build a huge castle and sometimes the printer missplaces blocks. So an after check would make it easier. Also I don‘t have permissions to go in Adventure mode and I don‘t want to use noclip
If the wrong block ID , gets placed that's an error In W.E. code , or the schematic is from a different version of minecraft that your currently in The there are missing or added block IDs to contend with. Schematica prints what it reads .
From a coding point of view , checking for mistakes could be done , if the finished print were saved as a schematic again , then compared to the original . Seems to me , that it would take a very long time . if your using a schematic from another version of Minecraft you have 2 choices
Print in layer mode and check each layer before printing the next , or covert the schematic to the minecraft version your working in making sure all the block ID's are correct
I'm having a bit of an issue on 1.12.2. I finished a build of mine and saved it as a .nbt file. However, on load of it, it shows up completely in blue and then crashes.
Other mods present: Optifine, PixelmonGenerations, Liteloader, Voxelmap, BigPony, Minelittlepony, and TabbyChat.
Not sure what could've caused it, but it does the same thing when I try to load my 1.7.10 schmatics.
EDIT: After looking at the previous page, I disabled Optifine's VBOs and it doesn't crash anymore, but the model still shows up in blue for some reason.

I believe I tried without it a few days ago and it got like half of it on there. Then again since it's a fairly large build, maybe if I increased the view distance it might save the full thing?
What optifine settings do you think might be conflicting with the mod aside from VBOs?
EDIT: I increased the view distance and it still didn't want to save. I think there's a limitation on your mod unfortunately.
Why mods for version 1.7.10 in the folder (lines 39-42 in gist report). Remove anything not related to version 1.12.2. Schematic has nothing to do with it.

There isn't such an option.
Who uses version MC1.12.x, share the collection with structures. Have a pack just for 1.7.10 (~2200).

Uh, the printer function places Phantom Blocks, not real blocks. Any help?
This might be caused due to high ping or anti cheat plugins on the server.
Try increasing the delay between block placements.

Pressed the wrong button.

Try it without Optifine

I like the mod, cause you can load schematics as a "blueprint" in your world and build it, especally if you had some tricky redstone builds to do :-)
Hope you work on the mod for all futher MC versions :-)
Hello I posted this on another forum and I'm going to try it here as well:
Hello,
I'm trying get LunatriusCore to work so I can use schematica,
I'm getting a crash when starting up the game from launcher on Windows 10
Im using latest recommended version of forge, also in the mods folder for 1.12.2:
Xaeros minimap,LunatriusCore-1.12.2-1.2.0.42-universal
Thanks so much for developing schematica!
