There is a feature similar to this known as the printer function; however, it is not available in the 1.7.2 version yet.
Might be a random memory leak, though that would lag the game even if you hid the schematic. And even if it stopped, it shouldn't start again when showing the schematic. I'll look into possible causes.
anybody can helpme? when i open the game always i have this crash

Got one question dude. do you think you could add a option to speed the printer up if you are oped or something. Im building on 1.6.4 on my server (im just giveing 1.7.2 and 1.6.4 a comparison test) and this builds taking me hours lol.
P.s had another chuck issue but it seems to be very rare now XD
Iloveme270 is correct, you can change that in the config. You may want to increase that if you get miss placed blocks (high ping/lag), if it works fine you can lower it. The default seemed to work pretty well for the average player.
working pretty well, have a few issues with the printer trying to place blocks nextto air blocks ect.
was buildinga schematic one layer at a time and the printer looked like it was trying to place the blocks eithe below or next to where it was actually suppossed to be placing them.
overall i am happy with the speed at which you are updating this mod keep up the good work buddy. If you are ever on my side of town ill buy you a beer!

Try to increase the placement time, something odd is going on in 1.7. I've had the same issue in my dev environment a few times.

I increased it to 3 because i had a feeling that might be the issue.Guess that wasn't high enough. I have to go to work but i will try increasing that value higher later tonight. thanks for the tip. And the awesome mod. It is so nice being able to transfer builds from server to server!
Me and my friend are both building mineplex in a rnadom server (ikr bad!) and we are getting lag beyond belief. We have the schematic loaded on both our pcs in the same place and when we go to specific levels (flying) we get very bad lag. if we do it 1 layer a time the lag gets even worse. Then we both started getting second java files running and 100% cpu. My friend has just had his pc compleatly freeze up and not do anything. his useing i3 and im i5 with a gt 930 and haven't had lag on minecraft before unless like massive amounts of tnt and stuff.
also a odd one we were both on the server, and both crashed at the same time. This seems to be the same with lag. were both getting lag at the exsact same time and also i got lag when my friend enabled his schematic and he did when i enabled. (This was Very WIERD!)
Is there any fix we can do cause its getting rely bad!
Also the printer was working and now is going nuts so cant be used as the blocks just keep vanashing after there placed.

You never posted a log. If your latest.log file contains at com.github.lunatrius.schematica.Schematica.checkDirty(Schematica.java:310) check my response bellow, it's the same issue.
Well, help. This log explains why you have the 100% CPU usage, but I have no idea how it can possibly happen. A world renderer should be NEVER null, it it won't render the chunk it's assigned to, at all. I'll add an additional check to (hopefully) prevent the high CPU usage (it's most likely caused by the amount of messages it tries to log). While I get the fix ready, try using the vanilla launcher and only add in Schematica (instructions on the wiki).
I can't fix anything without a log file, because I can't reproduce the problem. I'm only ever getting a SINGLE java.exe process I'm not getting any addition java processes.
If you didn't download the mod from a link in this thread you might've downloaded an infected file.
Would be awesome if you add a new opacity option, because if you want to build a big structure and you don't know what's below it's kinda difficult... Maybe there's lava there and you don't know! XD

I downloaded the dev4 version of Schematica, but when looking at the mod list from Minecraft's main menu, Schematica is listed as dev2.
[edit]
Also, I just noticed that by default, the printer button is set to enabled, but it doesn't do anything until I set the button to disable. Then the "print" feature actually works.

I probably forgot to clear the cache when building. If the filename says dev4 it's dev4. I'll make sure to fix that in the next version.
The button should say enable, without the d. I'll change that eventually to be more clear. Squashing bugs/updating the codebase right now.
erm i think i may have done something then (maybe cause i never deleated it) but i have the config file and have been editing it (for the instant thing and to lower the holograf opacity) and its all been working rely well lol.
This is the config i have atm and that i can edit without any issues (exsept every like 3-4 restarts of my minecraft it resets the tick delay) http://pastebin.com/vCg7xhNZ
dev build 4
placeInstantly will ignore the tick delay. It's supposed to be insta-build (works only in SP and maybe some MP servers).

Will be in today's build. I've got the old printer and material list somewhat working (probably still a lot of hidden bugs all around).

The mod requires forge to load. It also requires LunatriusCore. Without either nothing would work. You should get it though, its awesome

Thanks. I knew it needed LunatriusCore, I just didn't know if it was a forge mod.
Same here. My console log:

By default at least one side must have a solid block somewhere around. You can change that in the config to allow things to be placed in air.

I really doubt that. It's worth trying to update though.
It's not in any of the dev builds. The code for that changed enough so that I have to rework the entire thing from scratch.
