This may seem like an odd question, but is there any way I could get a download of the Universal Pot as a standalone for 1.6.4? While I love using this mod in most situations, I've come upon a rather unique one in a modpack in which the flower pot is the only thing I need. Most (if not all) modded flowers don't work in the Vanilla pot, so this would be an easy solution for that. I know that most of the mod's content can be disabled in the config, but that would also leave a bunch of unused content sitting around in the Creative menus of the modpack's players.
Thank you for the excellent mod, and sorry if this seems a little off-beat.

I can understand why you might want that, but I cannot fulfill the request. Such requests would take far too much of my already limited time. As you noted, Everything in the mod is already (or should be) disabling if desired so you can configure it to only add the flower pot if you want. Otherwise, the code is open source under Apache 2.0 so if you (or another modder if you are not capable) want you can extract the relevant source and create your own distribution containing only the flowerpot. I know at least one user did this for the death gamerules.

Thank you for the quick reply. I can understand why you wouldn't want to devote time to such a small request, since it does seem like a simple enough task with the open source. It just never hurts to ask. Again, thank you for the excellent mod, been hooked since I started playing it in Hexxit. Good luck with whatever life may be throwing at you. :3
I have a problem that may or may not be affecting only this mod.
I created a Cactus Legging tonight and got a complete game crash.
I've only ever had this problem before with The Dalek Mod when picking up their armors as well.
It seems that the item is fine in the gui, but when clicked (picked up) it causes a crash.
The only reason I let you know is because it's in my hand/inv now, so it will crash when I enter the world, essentially ruining any and all work I've done in said world. I have only experienced this with 3rd party armors, and this is the only bug I've found in your mod (which is my favorite besides You Will Die Mod, by the way. Amazing work.)
So, in short (to clarify) I crash when picking up/clicking 3rd party armor, yours included. If you can provide a step towards the solution, it would be amazing. Thank you.
If I knew the layout of the coding better I could find the problem, but, since I can't here's the crash report.
EDIT: I believe the error is in the Head section, and has to do with missing entities/classes. I could be wrong tho, idk.

Thank you for reporting the issue. It is Great that you included the crash report (also description of what was occurring when it happened), but in the future you should put it in

tags or link to it from a site like Pastebin.
The issue was, as you were suspecting, the cactus armor items were simply not being registered. Previously this was done automatically, and its easy to miss a few. Its a shame the crash report is as cryptic as it is. Thankfully its easy to reproduce.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't think to do that, while I was actually thinking "this is soooo long!" lmao... Also, found out today that I crash when clicking any entity name in the limited mob spawner. I'll go ahead and dl your new one and see how that does me.
If any problems I'll be back, other than that, thanks for the response, and I hope you come up with more great content. Cheers.
report for that problem, jic you wonder why.

Also, I was wondering if I have to update mc, or can I use the update with my current 1.7.2 Forge version?
EDIT: I saw that it was for 1.7 versions when clicked dl link. Thanks again. You're probably the best creator I've dealt with as far as support goes. Awesome work.
POST-EDIT: Yes, I still crash when clicking entity name in the limspawner. I hope you can figure that one out.
I'm just glad the only problems AREN'T deal breakers for your mod. I can still play a great game without the few things it won't let me. Also, Cactus armor is in fact fixed. I can't seem to find Cloth armor or it's variants in creative or tmi tho, so I'm guessing if I make it, it'll crash me like cactus did, just an educated guess. Look into it?

LMS crash was because I didn't include the runtime srg-names when using reflection; thus failing in production while working in dev. Cloth armors were indeed not declared; good catch on them not appearing in inventory.
Project Zulu v1.2.8.2
* Fix a number of reflection methods not specifing the runtime srg name causing crashes such as with LMS
* Actually register cloth armor items: White, Blue, Red, and Green

I don't know what a few of those key words mean, but I'm glad you worked it out.
I dug thru and couldn't really see a reason. I'm good with LindenScriptLanguage, (used only in second life and other LindenLabs products,) but all this normal coding is a little alien to me.
Downloaded and will be giving it a try as soon as the gf wakes and dl's update as well.
Hope to stick with you for future MC versions to come man.
(Also I discovered centipedes yesterday, I was scared for a second lmao)

Java's reflection is a way of dynamically call, i.e. at runtime, classes, methods, & fields. This is done by using the signature of a method/field (i.e. its name & argument types). Minecraft when released obfuscates its class and variable names to hard to read values (a.class, integer g, integer gg). Mod Coder Pack(MCP) makes modding possible by taking these are turning them into slightly easier to read names like field_70009_b. As people, we still hate those names so we have an additional set of mapping to make things readable (i.e. field_70129_M becomes yOffset). During accessing a field via reflection during development I need to access the field "yOffset", but in production I need to be looking for "field_70129_M "*.
* The reason we look for "field_70129_M " and not "a" is that as of minecraft 1.5 is that ForgeModLoader (FML), the opensource 'equivalent' of RML, de-obfuscates minecraft at runtime. Even though Mojang changes the obfuscation every minor version we as modders don't need to recompile our mods for every release unless the update actually changes something that effects us. Fun stuff.
Might as well mention for completeness that the most use-case for reflection is to access private variables. FML is actually a great example of using reflection and annotations to make a runtime loader.

I was actually wondering why they couldn't simplify the scripting.. i mean, they take the messages and turn them into numbers, then into words to clarify the numbers, like translating binary, Soooooo, what's stopping them from re-relating them and making them into simple script commands like "couldn't find guigetid=1234" or "cobblestone class missing"

Well, there isn't any scripting, this is java. The reason these issue of items not being declared didn't appear is, on a practical level, because the systems were designed during a time when every item was registered automatically. There are some neat things people do when registering isn't automatic (look at mystcraft and its biome wrappers). The recipe handlers all assume that any item being handed is an valid item.
Then there are fun quirks, like creative tabs are added to items not the other way around. Minecraft will later iterate over registered items to build the displays user's see. Thus minecraft will never encounter invalid items in creative tabs and cannot throw an exception.

I'm using the "You Will Die" mod along with Project Zulu for minecraft 1.6.4 and its not giving your hostile mobs levels/varying health. However every other aspect of the mod is compatible with your mobs.

Report it to the "You Will Die" developers. You will likely actually want to include specific information, like what mobs you were actually testing against. Stabbing in the dark, as you are talking about hostile the mod is likely using EntityMob to mark hostiles which none of my entity classes extend. If he is desiring to use 'monster' type the mod will need to use the 'monster' Entity.isCreatureType(EnumCreatureType type, boolean forSpawnCount) method.
I've tried this mod with both v1.2.8.3 and v1.2.8.2 and it keeps crashing. Originally tried it with other mods but, it kept crashing no matter what mods I took out so I tried it with just this mod alone and same thing.
So I got some exciting news which while great (albeit much sooner than anticipated) for myself, is rather unpleasant news for everyone else. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to continue developing my mods effective immediately. All of my mods are, and have been for some time, Open Source under Apache v2.0 such that any modder who may can be convinced to take up the responsibility may due so absent permission from or notification to myself. They are free to cut it to bits and pieces, maintain the project as closed or open source, or do any number of other unimaginable things to it.
Thank you everyone, for the times, they have been great.
Good luck to everyone's future modding: may your mods be many and your crash reports few.
P.S. To anyone who may be interested in using the codebase, I will be around for about another week in a sporadic capacity to answer any questions one may have. I will be idling in the recently created, and now unnecessary, EsperNet irc channel #minecraftspawns.
This is not the mod your looking for. The issue you are experiencing appears to lie with DamageIndicatorsMod.
Thank you for the excellent mod, and sorry if this seems a little off-beat.
I can understand why you might want that, but I cannot fulfill the request. Such requests would take far too much of my already limited time. (I included the computer info at bottom to inform you of which mods I'm running, since it seems my error may be hardware/client related)
Thank you for reporting the issue. It is Great that you included the crash report (also description of what was occurring when it happened), but in the future you should put it in tags or link to it from a site like Pastebin.
The issue was, as you were suspecting, the cactus armor items were simply not being registered. Previously this was done automatically, and its easy to miss a few. Its a shame the crash report is as cryptic as it is. Thankfully its easy to reproduce.
Project Zulu v1.2.8.1
* Fix crash due to Cactus Armor not be registered

Fun stuff.
* Fix registration of Coconut milk, seed, and shell. Also water droplets and structure placer. Hopefully everything?

Report it to the "You Will Die" developers. You will likely actually want to include specific information, like what mobs you were actually testing against. Stabbing in the dark, as you are talking about hostile the mod is likely using EntityMob to mark hostiles which none of my entity classes extend. If he is desiring to use 'monster' type the mod will need to use the 'monster' Entity.isCreatureType(EnumCreatureType type, boolean forSpawnCount) method.
I've tried this mod with both v1.2.8.3 and v1.2.8.2 and it keeps crashing. Originally tried it with other mods but, it kept crashing no matter what mods I took out so I tried it with just this mod alone and same thing.EDIT: I'm a retard. I tried using the 1.7 version for 1.6.4.... Yeah I should try reading more often and realize some mods actually do update.
Yes. The structure is complete and can spawn with no issues. I just haven't added/designed a unique entity for it yet so haven't enabled it.
There is no harm in enabling it if you are fine with a structure that doesn't have any spawner's or loot in it.
The repositories including source and resources will be preserved on github at:

Thank you everyone, for the times, they have been great.
Good luck to everyone's future modding: may your mods be many and your crash reports few.
P.S. To anyone who may be interested in using the codebase, I will be around for about another week in a sporadic capacity to answer any questions one may have. I will be idling in the recently created, and now unnecessary, EsperNet irc channel #minecraftspawns.
