Hey, this is a great mod and I was just wondering how to install it to my minecraft server. If I install forge and then dump the files into the minecraft_server.jar I get this error.

To begin with, it says you have my mod loading twice, I'd go to #minecraftforge on irc.esper.net for help with that, it might also be that your not using the correct version of forge.
I'm having an issue with the villagers, the villagers don't have skins, they are just completely white. They still have the armour and everything, just no skins. This was even with a fresh install of Minecraft with only Forge and this mod installed.

Edit - So, got the mod working even with all my other mods, my villagers are armed as promised, shears cut bows on skeletons, etc. Awesome stuff!
I don't think Mob Amputation is working with this though? http://www.minecraft...-an-easter-egg/ I'll test it out some more, but if I'm correct and the two don't work together, could I request possibly trying to fix that? The two would be epic together.
I tried it out, and the first time there were some bugs, and I was sad, because I was going to do a Let's Play with the two plus other mods on http://www.youtube.com/user/TCOTID?feature=mhee, but the second time I tried them together, they worked.
This mod and mob amputation use the same base classes, I'll talk to the creator, and I'll make a plugin/patch that will allow his mod to work with mine. Also, release of 2.1 will be around the 23rd of September.

I haven't had much time to work on this due to other projects(not to mention, I've made like 15 worlds burning down villages with arrows), I'm working on rewriting all the code in small bits to make it so it can handle an api. Right now, with a simple addition, I could have mobs holder whatever block etc. I will be preemptively adding in some features coming in through 1.4(Like, I may add witches, but not as a new mob, as a new villager)

Witch mobs will become friendly, and be come a separate "race" of villagers, their own, modified trading system, spawning in villages(and still swamps), mating, ETC

Haggling for villager trading.
Attacking/Angering a witch in trade=witch is hostile, attacking the witch will cause the whole village to count you as an enemy.
A village wide reputation, not a villager specific.
Villagers, when unable to find a village, will become nomads, and attack mobs until death.
Mob health regeneration.

The leggings basiclly improves and user's speed by50%
The boots allows the user to literally walk on lava and water(Shift-clicking will allow the user to sink into the liquid they are currently standing on)
Nova armor is enchantable

The armor on the mobs is hilarious. I might have to start a new world since I already have diamond armor. They probably aren't so funny when you're just starting out.
I've been coding quite often(more than usual) on this, I love reading all of your replies, here's some of the new ideas I've put in:
Door opening, not breaking.(Zombies/Skeles/(Creeper-Hard))
Creepers targeting blocks(More in-depth below)

When no valid target is near, creepers will target common/important blocks.
Blocks:
Wooden Blocks(excluding trees)
Cobblestone&Accessories
(Hard mode only) Trees, Ores
They will only target blocks when no valid target is found.

To be honest, I only have the client side modded, n it works for the server already... not sure if it was intentional, but none of my players seems to complain its not working.
Is this mod compatible with Zombie Awareness (Mod by Corosus)?
Yes it is... infact i have it installed side-by-side. HOWEVER, i would like to point out that zombie awareness takes over or messes up some of the mob behaviors.... for example: None of my zombies or pigmen wear armor anymore after installing ZA nor does Endermen attack you anymore- they're pretty much normal endermen again, not the hostile ones like it was intended by this mod- i still do get poisoned and burned tho- but then again, i dont get to see those strong armored zombies n pigmens anymore. Also, this may be due to that I only have my client side modded on a server, while ZA is installed on both client n server side. TO make things more interesting, I also have INVASION mod installed! its epic when it works, but recently, (maybe its because i have 2 MOB mods installed) no more invasion mobs are spawning too.
One of my favorite things about this mod is actually having to chase down passive mobs. Cows no longer forget that you just slashed them with your sword, but instead will continue running from you on sight. One time I kept running after one, repeatedly thinking 'just one more hit', forgetting that they have health regen =O
Also, the mobs breaking torches makes for some interesting cave exploration to say the least, makes exploring quite interesting.
My only complaint would probably be that I have yet to receive any sort of armor / weapon drops from the mobs, although I'm not sure if that is a bug, intentional, or just poor luck on my part.

If not for the skin of the villagers do not display properly, I will definitely use this MOD
