Sometimes when I warp on a MP server I crash. When I log on to the map in SP, I'm traped in the stone in the netherworld. None of the servers have netherworld turned on.. this happened two times today after installing V2 beta 3.

Thanks for letting me know. I've opened an issue and I'll look into it. It sounds like a similar problem to the dying or nether portal crashes. Issue #5
I downloaded a map but when log in singleplayer it was extremely slow and using lots of memory. What happened?
This is normal, you recieved pregenerated chunks from the server, when you log off and start in SP, your computer has to do the work of generating the surounding chunks this is the LAG that you hear about
Cubic . I got this error and crash when the server was doing its schedualed restart and W. D. running in background.
On a lighter note I brought up a name change a while ago, but its already happened. The texting generation shortens just about every word now , i.e. World Edit has become just W. E., looks like "World Downloader" is being refered to as just W.D. The plugin is very usefull in repairing bad chunks or even copying a part of a map over to new Biome on a pregenerated map.

Thanks for the crash report.
It is fixed in the source code and will be in the next beta version.
BETA 4 is posted. The link is the same and can be found at the top of the thread. I verified it by kicking myself from the server and seeing that there was no crash and the level saved properly.
Hey,
Since beta 3, my minecraft crashs every time i enter or leave the nether.
That issue has been reported several times in this thread and I have responded to it. There is a issue to track it here: Github - World Downloader - Issue #2
I should have a fix for it this weekend when I get some time to work on it. The problem really was that in the stable version and the early beta versions, it's not really saving things properly even though it doesn't crash.
You could try stopping the download before you enter the nether portal. Then, wait for the message to tell you that the save is complete. Then, enter the nether and "start download" again. It's just an idea to try in the mean time.

Hey guys!
I made this video on this mod I really like this mod so I thought I'll do a video hope you guys injoy it.
Also what I was saying in the video this mod is good for seeing what people have built in the server that you can't see so you would use this mod to see what they built that you can't see ( E.G Private rooms, Caves )

Look at my channel, it has awesome videos for you guys
The Link isn'tworking for 1.3.2. Can you re upload it????
It looks like the links were all down yesterday for some reason. I tested this all this morning and I didn't have any trouble so it must have been a temporary thing. I've used these services for a long time and downtime is pretty rare. Sorry for the delay in getting the mod files.
found a bug if u download world in the nether ur game will crash
I'll try this out and file a bug on github if I can reproduce it. What are the steps you are using? Just connect to server, enter nether and start download? Which version of the mod? Any other mods installed? A crash report is always helpful. Thanks for reporting it!I ended up needing to be at work all weekend so I didn't get any bug fixes committed. All of the outstanding bugs seem to be the same issue related to asynchronous saving and I have a good idea for fixing it. Stay tuned!

Thank you for creating a video to highlight the World Downloader mod. You gave a nice description and demonstration. Just to clarify, you don't have to actually walk into each chunk to save it. Once you see the chunk data on your screen, it's already been downloaded from the server and should be saved by the client. I think that's what you were saying in the video. Thanks again!

It looks like you have Too Many Items installed. Do you have other mods too? The crash isn't in World Downloader code but there may be a conflict I can look at. It would be cool to work with Too Many Items at least. I can't think of why that would conflict though. Thanks for the report.
It's fixed in BETA3. You can find the link at the top of the thread. Thanks for reporting this issue.

It looks like you have Too Many Items installed. Do you have other mods too? The crash isn't in World Downloader code but there may be a conflict I can look at. It would be cool to work with Too Many Items at least. I can't think of why that would conflict though. Thanks for the report.
