Hi, everyone, why when I download my world or any world with holograms, I copy them too? Any way to remove them?
Thank you
That'll be fixed sometime, but there isn't a built-in way yet. But you can manually remove them: Most holograms are just invisible floating renamed armor stands, so the command /kill @e[Type=ArmorStand] will remove all loaded ones.
However, you'll need to have cheats enabled to do this, which isn't available by default in any of the current releases. (It will be in the future -- commit ff8895c enables it by default). In the mean time, you can temporarily open the world to LAN with cheats enabled and run said command.
There's a bug on world downloader 1.8, signs download text adding many stuff, which results in everything after the 4-5 first characters of each line being wiped out
Screenshot please? I can't really understand what you're referring to.
However I have recorded another bug that occurs when you enter a nether portal or if you die. Despite it shouldn't even be necessary, I had multi world support enabled because it would be necessary if I started downloading on the lobby instead of in the match.
(video stops recording right before this pops up in the chat)
This is a known bug, which was fixed in my version but the fixed version hasn't been released yet (there's still other bugs that are being fixed). See here (specifically, commit d2fc474).
In the mean time, you should probably be able to stop downloading, go through the portal, and then resume downloading on the other side. (I'm not sure about death, though... that may be harder to avoid).
Multiverse worlds do not work! PLEASE HELP ME. I want to use so many servers for single player as I think it would be cool to check out everything in a single player's perspective allowing me creative etc. But almost every good server is multiverse! it doesn't work with world downloader. It just never says downloading stopped, or finished downloading. Also I've tried both ways with the multiverse option, and the regular both do not work on separate computers, and different servers! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

If so, this is known and will soon be fixed. In the mean time, just stop downloading before switching worlds, and you should be fine.
FORGE VERSION PLZ!1!!!1!!
But srsly, I want it! And make sure it works with shaders and optifine's menu layout
Oh u need liteloader.
But liteloader is 1.8 only, can u make it forge compatible with 1.7.10? And possibly other versions?
LiteLoader is 1.7.10 and 1.8. The main version of LiteLoader is in fact for 1.7.10. (the 1.8 one is a development build). There's also 1.7.2, 1.6.4, and 1.6.2 builds (all of these have the easy installer). Download here.
Note that I'm not sure of the compatibility with the current litemod file with these past versions, as I only develop this 1.8 version which doesn't use liteloader (and is sure to be incompatible with forge). I think you're able to use the same litemod file, but that might not be the case.
Fix for issue #1, where previously changing worlds in a multiworld server broke the download and started 20 save threads.
Fix for issue #3, where reloading chunks caused TileEntities to be removed.
Fix for issue #5, where fireworks would cause the game to lag to extreme levels when they exploded.
The world no longer has a chance of becoming invisible after stopping the download.
New features
Saving the contents of map items!
If the map is in an item frame, you need to load it for it to be saved, just like a chest.
If the map is in your inventory, it'll be saved immediately.
Idcounts.dat is not saved, meaning that if you create a new map in the downloaded world, it may use the ID of an existing one. Nothing too important, but something to be aware of.
A debug options GUI, so that your chat is only spammed if you want it to be!
Some debug settings default to enabled, but all can be disabled (and all will be if "Master debug switch" is set to off).
You can also chose which types of information you want to see, so you can only see the more important GUI open/close messages without seeing the removeEntityFromWorld or onChunkNoLongerNeeded ones.
Re-implementing the "Player looks about in world" code for the multiworld select GUI.
Configuration of the "Allow cheats" setting, with it defaulting to enabled (rather than previously being disabled)
Backing up the world!
This is done after saveing is done, and a backup is created each time.
The three modes available are creating a zip of the world folder, copying the world folder entirely, and not performing any backup. The default is creating a zip.
Probably some other things that I've forgotten about.
This version isn't compatible with forge (or liteloader, I think), and must be manually installed for now. When doing so, you'll need to directly insert the contents of the zip into the jar, and then delete the META-INF folder. This mod is based off of Minecraft 1.8, and not Minecraft 1.8.7, so make sure you're using the right version!

Worked as expected , it was nice that I could back up map data as well . Julialy can you do a test compile in liteloader of Poke's code . Substantial speed ups and optimizations compared to the current liteloader 1.8 WDL . No lag . Poke 's code gives rise to a new name "Minecraft Personal Backup" . Ran very well on Windows 10 TP build 10147 using AMD Driver WDDM v2 sample Driver .

Edited because apparently quotes hate me today. (the quote is from DisneyDavid624's comment)

Could you by any chance just put the download link to a version folder, with all of the steps you have to take already there?
Really useful, but you should make it Forge compatible to make things much easier!
It IS forge compatible, first install Liteloader, then install this mod.
No conflicts.

So, after putting LiteLoader in the mods folder; Can I put the mods inside the mods folder?
yes.
It's better to use the installer, however.
This version has the Ismodified minimap workaround in it . It will cause minecraft to crash when combined with newer versions of minimap
Oh yeah, I should put out an update to remove the workaround.
I've just finished the second version for my version of WorldDownloader (this one doesn't use liteloader and is instead put directly into the jar). Download and source code are available on the github repository.
