I have have changed the mods installed. I figured out that this mod broken when you use the McPatcher HD fix. I will switch to optifine to stop this from happening.
Glad to hear that you figured out what was causing the error.
like argly902, does this work with armor from mods?
It should as long as the mod developer integrated the item damage using the same system as the built-in Minecraft items and the class file doesn't conflict.
It causes all of the mod related items to display incorrectly. I think that this is also a problem that I had earlier with Millenaire :http://www.minecraft...e-mp-bug-fixes/
Any work around/fix would be appreciated. Thanks for an awesome mod!
I'll look into it and let you know if I get a compatible version working.

Awesome. Thanks! I'm a little sleepy but I think that the problem also triggered with another mod, though I can't recall which one. I don't know if it because they are modifying the same class file or what may have caused it. Whatever the result, much appreciated.
Durability101 has been updated to be compatible with Minecraft 1.4.2 and also includes support for tools with unbreaking enchantments. The new download link is in the original post. Sorry for the delay in updating the mod!
There's yet more to come!

You can do that yourself... Just need to unzip and rezip with only one layer instead of two... with this mod it took me just a few moments.
