I want a version between Normal and Extreme! Extreme are to much and Normal are not much! Please make a version between this veriosn!
My understanding: Normal is based on normal village spawn rates, and is intended for actual play.
Extreme is for mod reviewers and testers who want to find villages to play with.
Given the abilities of villages and villagers, especially in 132's imbalanced trading (in fairness, I like Etho's approach -- Abuse them, but only to get the Emerald Block for building with, for decorations), making villages more common is a bad thing.

It would be nice to have a config file to adjust which biomes the villages can spawn in. I'd like to not allow them to spawn in mountain biomes and any place that the houses become funky.
Have you ever wanted an underground village? Do you hate that mountain overhangs can make doors invalid? Well worry no longer! With this insanely awesome add-on doors no longer need any line of sight to a skyblock!
(Download is highly recommended for client only. I suggest not using this on a server.)

Possible population explosions. That and lack of sufficient testing. You are free to experiment with the mod on your own, of course. Just make sure you have good backups.
I love this mod. I have a few suggestions. How about the next few updates having more villager types and buildings without any specific mod? I really didn't want to get all of forestry just just to see a new house And how about a feature of common villages that is in between normal and extreme? like "common" or something. I like extreme, but I want it to be where there aren't villages EVERYWHERE, but have them to be fairly common, so you'll find some occasionally, not just one in every generated world or to use seeds :P. This mod can be a whole lot more. I wish villagers were smarter, without millenaire, because I like the squidward villagers Keep up the great work!!!

Smarter villagers, this is a issue all in itself. That really needs to be a mod unto itself. Mob AI is not something I wish to get into. As I've stated before someone with more knowledge of AI should create that type of mod. There are a couple other mods already that have attempted to make "smarter" villagers. I'm intently watching a mod thread that does give "village" mobs more to do, and smarter. Time shall tell.
For the time being I am still trying to figure out a elegant method for getting more buildings into the villages. Don't fret though, after the minecraft 1.4 update I'll introduce a couple of surprise elements for this mod.
Village AI can be tricky, but there are more complex codes. The medium mode doesn't seem very medium, as it's taken me a long time to find one, although it's a lot more than what I found for normal XD perhaps you can edit it a bit? You could add more modes like this, in between, Extreme Extreme, because I found a mod that adds giants clumps of villages EVERYWHERE, a bit closer then 32 blocks, because extreme can sometimes feel like just common, and there can be gaps. I'd love to have a clump feature in one mode, so babies can already spawn ^^ I'd love to see that mod I saw but new looks This SHOULD be in vanilla. Perhaps you can experiment with any extra bimoes mods and add villages in there as an option I've found some good ones like biomesXL. Keep up the work.

Went in and reworked the code a bit. Should work better. Not that you should notice, but I reworked it anyway.
Also, servers should be able to safely use this code now. Always backup as usual though.

Steves make a Portal ... so their ancestors did the same, I guess, as an extreme measure for escaping Zombie Rampages...

Please download and install [1.3.2] Village Logic Addon-01 instead.
Nothing major, just a minor typo fix.
