Could you send me the source? Or at least tell me how I can increase the drawback speed of my bow? This mod is awesome! New things are the best, especially for 1.3!
In the ItemBow file, inside of the onPlayerStoppedUsing method, you should see a line that says
float var7 = (float)var6 / 20.0F;
all you need to do is change the 20.0F to something lower, say 8.0F. This will decrease the amount of time it will take to make the arrow do the critical hit, and it won't shorten the animation(not sure how to do that :P).
Thank you for this great mod ! And thank god that it works with the Herblore Mod, I love shooting with my legia bow while i smoke virtual weed Most of the mods adding new items didn't work with Herblore. But could you add the bows to the Combat Items List in Creative Mode?
Are you gonna add arrows? or maybe more bows? Oh and i have an idea... Make a really epic bow like combined with emeralds and diamonds and make a Skeleton boss that drops it I now its a little hard but its just an idea.
Nice mod makes sense having different bows, like we have different swords, I just gotta find or try to make some hd textures so it looks good with the rest of my in game textures. Love the double bow too that is boss.
Nope it isnt compatible im not gonna have elemental arrows though cuz im doing a sereise and this seems better and check out my youtube channel ADay2RiseAgainstnever mind it isnt compatible with any of risugamis mods so sorry i have lots of his mods ima get rid of the bows mod
Currently I am working on the V2.0Pre-release, this will eliminate (hopefully) all the bugs and errors from V1. This means that the bows will be in the combat tab on Creative mode, the Legia Bow will consume only one arrow, still shoot two, but the second arrow will be unobtainable, I am working on being able to enchant the bows, and I'm not sure what MagicLauncher is, but people are having problems with it and I don't know why. It will also include 2 new bows. I am sure about keeping one of them, but trying to work on a poison bow too. I might also change the recipe for the Crystal Bow to an iron ingot, two diamonds, and three string to make it more friendly towards the Elemental Arrows mod. Any other reasonable requests or bugs can be put in the comments. Thanks for the support!

Yea I like this mod, its kinda like what I was going to do with Metallurgy's bows eventually, pretty slick!

Make arrows to go with this mod. Doesn't have to be like the 'Elemental Arrows' mod, As fun as his arrows are, I don't like them. I want to shoot Wooden arrows..Stone.. Iron.. Diamond.. Obsidian.. Stuff more then the basic arrow, Can't have an epic bow mod like this go without it's own arrows. This is now the center of my minecraft. Screw everything else. Think about adding your own arrows please =) I don't know how hard it'd be but it'd make the mod even better then it already is.

hey, first of all im going to be making a mod review of this cuz its EPIC!!!! when its done ill post it here.
2nd you could make 1 biger png for each bow that has it pulling back or 1 big pic for all of them and just use coords
