I want to ask something. I read somewhere that Omnitools have the option to convert an ore from one mod to the same ore of another mod. The only thing I want is to convert IC2 copper and tin to Metallurgy 2 copper and tin. The reason is that if I crush the ores, even with the Metallurgy 2 crushers the dust and resulting ore is for IC2, and sadly it can't create weapons or be used for Metallurgy 2.

I don't see the question in here unfortunately. If you're asking whether or not the mod can do this, then the answer is yes. The OP should have explained that, although I see that the pictures have disappeared for some reason.

Having a bit of trouble. I can convert vanilla wood stairs and slabs. As well as the Ingots that mods add however I can't convert the vanilla planks or logs. Any suggestions?

Hahaha, you are so right, I forgot to add the actual question and only pointed out my problem. It was quite late and I was tired so I could not really think straight. Thanks for the answer though, I hope it still does it, although even if it does not, just having one tool for everything is still great.
I added today Gregtech and my omniwrench was gone. Does anyone know something about it? I also already posted in the Gregtech thread for help, but thought of asking here too.
ID Conflict with Gregtech. Change the ender pearl dust ID in his config file.
Thank you so much for pointing it out . For better or worse, his config for IDs is empty for me, so I cant really alter anything. Thankfully your config works great, so everything is back in order. I was feeling literally crippled without your omniwrench.
Minor bug report: If you use the OmniWrench on an IndustrialCraft Personal Safe, it doesn't check the safe to see if it's empty first. Thus, right-clicking a safe destroys the contents. (Normal IndustrialCraft behavior is to fail to remove the safe and display an error message in the chat log.)
I updated forge to the latest version today, together with some other mods, but now the omni wrench is gone. it's enabled in the config, and no other item has taken it's ID, it just completely disappeared from the game. the lexicon is still there, does anyone know of a fix?
EDIT: I changed the item ID from default to 21743 and the omni wrench seems to be back...
and the problem with this mod is? That's GregTech (aka: BrokenTech) doing that one. Better to just remove it as it's got zero sense of balance and screws up basically every mod it touches. I think it's up to like 3 mods that he reaches in and modifies. (MAJOR no-no there)
Not posting it for that, more that I did some Tooncraft textures. Should have done something else then
Another idea to note. I noticed how the omni-wrench will rotate and switch around placed vanilla objects which I love and had the thought that is it possible that it could flip through paintings too? I understand if its not possible or not something you think the wrench should do.
Is there a way to automatically convert items with the Lexicon? It'd be nice to be able to use pipes/tubes to automatically convert all compatible ingots into a single item type for storage. (Automatically using the default conversion selection in the Lexicon would be fine.) Thanks!
For some reason, I am unable to convert between the 100kEUStore FOD entry. I'm using GregTech, and noticed potential exploits with a few conversions that I'd rather disable, but I don't appear to be able to convert within that group anyway. I've attempted conversions using items with various different Storage levels, and items given using the /give command and therefore no NBT tag, but nothing happened. EITHER something odd is going on, or GregTech has disabled a bunch of conversions by default.
Quite intentional. GregTech is disabling those conversions to my knowledge - the only bug here is that the convert button is not properly greying out in the Lexicon.
Right now I'm in the middle of a rewrite of this mod, I may release a patch for 1.4.6, but after that, I imagine a few things will be changing, quite likely the name for starters.
How do you get this working with FTB? I'm on a Mac with Lion and using the main pack (1.4.2) and the 1.4.2 version of OmniTools. I zipped it, but it doesn't seem to load. Anything I'm doing wrong?
does the lexicon support isided intventory and is it activable via redstone? for automation sake? i would love to be able to set up a redpower line and pump all my ore through this.

Generate Minecraft Tellraw Commands, Books, and Signs!
They don't show up as being convertible.

I agree with Cobra, though, being able to pipe stuff into/out of the lexicon would be really useful (if it doesn't already do that).
