Hey gang - I have a question, nothing bug related this time:
When you use an Electrolytic Seperator with Brine, you get 'gas' Sodium and Chlorine.
Now, chlorine is useful - sodium.... can't be used for anything. Can we get a recipe to use this?
I'm thinking run it through the Chemical Crystalizer to produce metal sodium. What to do with that? Simple: It'll explode if tossed in water - or if you take a swim while have it in your inventory. That's how the real sodium works.

If your still on 1.7.10 you can look at SodiumCraft .. until there is an actual use for sodium within mekanism
I did not see where I need to go to ask questions about this mod or report bugs, I can not play this mod on 1.7.10 or 1.10.2, it keeps coming back with "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. we're sorry for the inconvenience." It does not go into why it crashed or any helpful information to fix it. I have downloaded the lasted update for the mod and still can not play it. any help will be appreciated. Thank you
Thanks for the help! I can't install the update, my computer will not let it. Keep getting it is not "compatible with this version of Windows", the only one I can get to work is the 32bit but I get this error. Thanks for the help!
I just installed Mekanism and made new world. Is anyone else haveing problems with the world loading? I get to edges and then have to wait for minutes for world to load new chunks. It only does this with Mekanism installed.
Which version of Minecraft and Mekanism file name like for example MekanismGenerators-1.10.2-9.2.0.292 are you using? Is it the 1.7.10, 1.7.10 and even 1.6.4 can have chunk issues. If not and its 1.9.4 or 1.10.2 I have no idea. I last touched Mekanism for 292 in 1.10.2 but never tried 295 yet and 1.7.10 I have no idea about now, it was last year some time.
Your memory allocation might also need to be higher I assume. I can only guess. So this is java arguments. It can be complex to some people. If it might be memory just ask and I can explain it or maybe others here.
Or just try F3 + A in-game and that reloads chunks, but if not then memory allocation or something else.

But if its not Mekanism and you have this probably without mekanism like in the standard game (vanilla) or a bunch of mods then it is either memory, forge or something else. More information much be given if you can. You have given a good amount of information but still not sure what the case may be. I'm not perfect so my wording or explanations might be a bit off ok.

If memory allocation go to the Minecraft Launcher (unsure if you use a mod pack launcher like FTB, AT, Curse or Technic. If not and the standard game launcher or curse's way to (standard game) vanilla launcher. Go to the profile section. Then go to the JVM arguments. The 1G, change to the amount of Memory your computer/laptop/tablet or whatever you use can handle. So if it an 8GB memory, leave at least maybe 2-3 GB for your operating system (Windows, Mac or whatever) and just make it say instead of 1G, to 2 or 4GB if your device can handle it. On the other side of the text box you will see a 128M or 256M change it to be double the 128 or 256 (for example 128x2 = 256, 256x2 = 512, 512x2 = 1024).

Increase the amount of RAM allocated. The "pause" waiting for chunks to generate (as what I suspect is happening) is normal for any mod that does world generation. That amount of time as you stated waiting for a few minutes means that you are using a swap file for memory.
"Typically" having Mekanism (1.7.10 at least) you need to allocate at least 1.5GB/1500mb RAM aside (the three mek mods)
Interesting, I ran Mekanism and a few mods with about 1GB for a while and it was a older PC (GT210 and equal parts that fit that range) and it was 6 years+. I stopped using it in a few months to the end of 2016. Even when 1.7.10 started for modding I ran it, thermal expansion, ender IO, ae2 and a few others fairly well, up to a certain point when starting Ae2 but had x3 ores, many thermal expansion machines and ender io, tinker's smeltery upstairs, and open blocks tanks with XP in them. I find it a bit strange to say now, but it was somehow possible not too long ago. But I do agree that it does require a lot to run nowadays for late 1.7.10+ versions. Besides 1.9.4-1.10.2 Mekanism you need at least 2-4 probably I think to get it working (all 3 mods) and that the factories and more machines can be very intense at around x4 ores to run the MC world if you have Mekanism early game and a fairly medium sized mudpack but I was running 2GB I think. And that was with my new PC (2GB as I wasn't too for the same mods and switched to many other mods later down the line so I don't need that much RAM and more) when it is about a few months old from mid to end of 2016. Either way memory is the go if possible with the PC handling it of course.
Can I make it so it displays RF for the machines rather then the Joules?, I know everything can use RF but is it possible to do this?
I don't know if this is in the new versions since I am not impressed by the current available mods for 1.10+, but in the 1.7.10 versions there was a little lightning bolt that told you the energy used, and clicking it would cycle it between Joules, RF, and EU.

Also another question does mekanism digital miner replace mined blocks like rf tools builder does? Playing 1.10.2. i love the fact digital miner has more filters but like the block replace from Rftools builder.

If its the same as in 1.7.10 then yes you can - you just need to supply it with the block for it to replace before you confirm each filter.

Sorry for all the questions. Just learning mekanism for first time really enjoying it, but is there way to make purifying chamber except other ores? For Instance it wont take nickel or aluminum.
Latest Nvidia video drivers broke something. Try re-installing older drivers.
