That doesn't really answer my question, and neither does the wiki (which the OP links to, but oddly didn't come up on Google).
Induction is a module that contains a new type of multiblock modular battery, tesla coils, electrostatic linker, quantum entangler and more. I haven't used this mod much so I don't know much about it. It is actually Resonant Induction, a mod that used to be hosted on Universal Electricity site. You can look at their wiki for more info.
MDK is the Mekanism Development Kit, a mod that is useful for modders. You do not have to install this module. Mekanism (core) needs to be installed with all modules.
The developer of this mod focus' mainly on creating new content and optimizing existing code, so he rarely has time for documentation. Creative google search's are the best way to obtain info.
Alright, sounds like I don't need either of those for what I want to do. I assume the one just called 'Mekanism' is the base mod and the others add to that; it would be nice to know exactly what each one did, but I can sorta guess from the names. Presumably NEI and WAILA can let me know what comes from what, and if there's one module I just don't ever use I can take it out.

Could you please add an option for mobs to not get your armors as priority, I would like to see the armors but not as much as I am maybe make it so you can have them be rare so I can see Iron much more often than your armors. Example: X% of the time I will get anything but your Armors on Zombies and Skeletons. Only reason being that It makes it very easy to get and its glowstone, lapis and steel and that can be version broken in some situations. If you have a good XP farm and Twilight forest mob grinders become a source of Glowstone, Lapis and Steel. If you have Rotarycraft you can AFK grind XP so it makes it even worse for this mod. Please add this option so I don't have to remove it.
For anyone else worried about the Digital Miner being too OP, change the power usage in the config to 800 instead of 100, that will make it use the same power as a Quarry. (With all the upgrades and with Silk Touch off, if you turn that on is x6)
Also for the machines, I set them to 100 instead of 50 (all of them except the Smelter), that will make them use the same power as the TE Machines.

For example: I would throw spare stairs, fence posts, wooden slabs, paper(?), sticks, sapling, leaves and the like into a machine and it gives me charcoal. After a day working on buildings, I have a lot of spare materials that I end up storing, disposing of or burning.

I think charcoal would be a better choice as some mods allow the conversion from coal to diamonds through several processes

I'm still not entirely sure how to do 4x in the -current- version. It's possible, the author's screenshot in the OP shows it, just not how.
It is as of yet a bit of a dynamic process. Aidan has this fantastic 'gas' mechanic that encourages him to 'tinker'. At this point NEI should tell you everything you need to know for the recipes for 4x ore processing except the salination plant multiblock. MDK is the Mekanism Development Kit, a mod that is useful for modders. You do not have to install this module. Mekanism (core) needs to be installed with all modules.

The developer of this mod focus' mainly on creating new content and optimizing existing code, so he rarely has time for documentation. Creative google search's are the best way to obtain info.
what resource pack are you using?
Anyone else feel the factories should be a multiblock? Love the idea and implementation and all but all of that in one block feels a bit too small.

That sounds really awesome, but at the same time, better be really expensive.
Also for the machines, I set them to 100 instead of 50 (all of them except the Smelter), that will make them use the same power as the TE Machines.
A machine that converts all "burnable" materials into charcoal. For example: I would throw spare stairs, fence posts, wooden slabs, paper(?), sticks, sapling, leaves and the like into a machine and it gives me charcoal. After a day working on buildings, I have a lot of spare materials that I end up storing, disposing of or burning.

Makes a lot of sense! Coal is an ore and spawns naturally. Charcoal is sort of "artificial" coal.

I'm still not entirely sure how to do 4x in the -current- version. It's possible, the author's screenshot in the OP shows it, just not how.
It is as of yet a bit of a dynamic process. Aidan has this fantastic 'gas' mechanic that encourages him to 'tinker'. At this point NEI should tell you everything you need to know for the recipes for 4x ore processing except the salination plant multiblock.
