Ok, its just uncommon to see a mod adding female mobs, I'm not sexist or anything, so calm down, sheesh.
I was calm. I wasn't calling you a sexist or anything of the sort. I was just literally pointing out that most mob mods add male or non-sexed mobs and that it really shouldn't be a surprise if one that contains mostly female mobs exists.
I know how hard and make a mod, more creator of the grimoire of Gaia What about the idea of doing an item that can transform the mobs of the grimoire of gaia pets who supports the idea? will be that it is possible to do this?

There's possibly a couple ways I can think of to do this without having to make a new mod, or an addon to this one which might be a better, faster solution:
1) Custom NPCs can use any model of any mob added by any mod and create a follower/npc. The drawback is that the item to create the npcs can be used to make immortal, OP companions/pets and it's a little complex if you've never made NPCs or done any character design before.
2) Ars Magic 2 has the ability to capture a creatures soul in a phylactery and make it into a companion. The drawback here is that you have to get pretty far into the AM2 magic system to get access to this, and I believe the 'familiars' you make are mortal, and I'm not 100% sure if they work as battle pets or not.
If I do attempt it, it would most likely be in the 1.8.x update as I believe it would require me to completely rewrite all the mobs involved. It will also be limited to Wolf AI alone (Like Thaumic Horizons) because that is my limitation when it comes to Minecraft modding; copying from a base. The author of littleMaidMob knows and understands what he is doing; I sadly don't.
I honestly do not know how to code in Java, if you can believe that after me making a mod that is literally in Java. That is why this mod hardly deviates from the AI that is present in vanilla Minecraft itself. If I had a basic understanding in Java I feel this mod would have been completely different from what it currently is.
Why not ask for some help then? The minecraft community is full of talented, nice people-and you got help for 1.7.10, so I don't see why a dedicated fan wouldn't be willing to lend a hand
I use Grimoire of Gaia on my server, and it's the last mod stopping me from updating to 1.8 D: I'm sure many other people are in my same position and would be very grateful for an upgrade
Umm can someone help me plz. I'm playing minecraft 1.7.10 with biomes o plenty and mobs from this mod don't seem to be spawning. There's no crashing or anything I'm just noticing that I never see any GOG mobs in my game. Is GOG incompatible with BOP or something.

It works perfectly fine with BoP. Do you have any other mob adding mods?
Well, just my way of thinking I guess..
But see it like that... If he would ask someone for doing something that he can't for just one update,
he has to ask somone for every update afterwards since he still can't code it himself.
But if nobody wants to help him or is around that can, at a time that he wants to update...He can't update.
Also just my way of thinking, but when you create a mod and someone else helps you, it's kind of not only
your mod anymore and people that helped you might demand strange things, additions to the mod, or just dont want you to
use their code anymore and stuff like that. There are a lot of strange people out there. xD
I would normally agree, but considering how much help he's gotten already I thought it'd make sense to suggest either A; trying to learn the skills necessary to update to 1.8-or B; ask for help again
Hey I need some help with a compatability issue with the mod. I would love if all the mobs that don't attack till you hit first like the centaur and satyr could be like the cyan flower which is shown as a passive on a mini map till you hit it. Then my Minecraft Comes Alive guards can stop getting wrecked by them.
I was wondering how to change the config so the monsters aren't as strong, or at least how to disable some of the monsters from spawning. I know you have to set it to 0 by the spawn rate, Im just not sure where exactly. I'm terrible with code sorry DX I figured disabling spawning would be simple but when I tried it didn't work and crashed on me. I must not have put it in the right spot. I wouldn't mind keeping all the mobs if they weren't as strong, I know they have "harm" damage or something right? it does more than normal mob damage or ignores armor, I think there is a way to disable that extra damage Im just not sure how. If someone could show me which file in the archive to change and where in it to write what I need to or delete what I need to, that would be great : ) Im using the latest version of grimoire, 1.2.7 and the recommended version of forge 1558.

You put it on github with an OSS license for the code and retain ownership of the art.
Then you either accept pull requests that update the code, or not as you please. If a fork is made - which it can as the code would be OSS - the art assets are separately licensed so control is retained.
So, you can accept pull requests that improve version support, or not, while retaining total control over the actual meat of the mod (models and art assets) while allowing the community to contribute to the code.
There is no requirement that putting the code up on github would in any way result in the loss of rights / control over the important stuff - being models and art.

ONE problem-- some textures have that black outline that most vanilla items don't have.. It's a bit awkward if I must say.. Great mod!! Maybe some centaurs should be men, maybe a few should be men, maybe if you can whip me up something..

Here is my Advent of Ascension textures I'm working on:
Not sure if this question has already been asked, but does this mod work well with ExtraBiomesXL? I realise that the mobs only spawn in specific biomes but is it possible to be a config option in which Biome ID's to spawn in?
I'm pretty sure that the mod will work fine as is. I believe that Silentine has managed to integrate the biome dictionary from Forge into this so that we don't have to worry about weird spawns/lack of spawning.
Have you seen most other mods that add mobs? Most of those mobs are male. Why are you questioning the addition of female mobs?
i probably have a clue on what this mod is based off of but i could be wrong, tho it does explains the female mobs
It does have a partial basis in the monster girl encyclopedia, but I remember Silentine saying that wasn't the only influence.
that what i was thinking the models did look similar.

thanks for everyone that helps
