I would KILL for compatibility with Custom NPC's. Blissfully beautiful mod, mobs, and models!
Wonderful prospects for terrifying boss mobs and vivid NPC's.
I get some weird aggro from dryads and centaurs over villagers.... like, very aggressive aggro.... as in, mobs from 3 chunks away come rushing over my area as soon as there's a villager around.
they just ignore me all along, and go straight for the villagers.
is that an intended behavior? is there a way to tone it down or anything?
I lowered the spawn rate through MSC2, but still, they're rushing me three or four at a time.

Programming was supposed to mean simplicity... then, Mojang showed up.
I'm getting worried about the mod since we haven't heard anything from Silentine recently. Hopefully we hear something from him just to confirm that he's still around (and hopefully working on the next version). This is one of my favourite mob mods so I hope to hear something soon even if it isn't much.

We've heard from him already. Real life has taken his time away from modding and once things settle down, he's going to update the mod. I can understand being worried, but he posted a little while ago and I'm going to take him at his word that the update will happen.
Guess I am not surprised to find out these were from a hentai artist. I think they are way cooler when they are brought to a more family friendly level anyway
Gosh darnit, guess I need to play a 1.6 pack and ignore my 1.7 world. ;; Any one know any good modpacks with this already in them? Too lazy to make my own 1.6 pack.

The only one I know of is Ultra Hard Survival on the ATLauncer. Just be prepared to die... a lot... Regeneration is off.
Also,
Why would a modder that hasn't updated from 1.6.4 will update to a version that is 8 months old already instead of the most recent version?
1.7.2 will not get any support from forge, the bugs that were in 1.7.2 forge WILL STAY THERE because of NO SUPPORT.
1.7.10 has full forge support any bugs will be fixed by forge and by any other modders in their mods.
Is it really that HARD to understand?
A modder might want to update to 1.7.2 because any given player is stuck with 1.7.2 until all their mods update - which can often be months, even for small changes.
I actually haven't noticed any bugs in 1.7.2 for over a month. Littlefix fixes the inverted textures; Forge 1122 fixes the explosion bug, and I haven't heard the overlapping music bug for a while (did Forge fix it?).

Thats because your mods don't depend too much on custom renderers.
What really upsets me in the entitled attitude you have. Modders dont owe us anything, we aren't entitled to a mod version for each minecraft release. If a mod author wants to skip a version it's up to him/her.

Actually a custom renderer was the crux of my latest update to Underground Biomes Constructs (the stone-textured ores). And I've been playing around with NoCubes without trouble. Maybe custom entity renderers are a problem - but that's a problem for a relatively small set of mods; it's not a '1.7.2 is a buggy mess' level of problems.

Sorry to interrupt but I have a question. What is the drop % for the rare drops of the monsters? I am also wondering if in the future, Looting enchantments will effect the normal drops like how it does with other mobs. Interesting mod nevertheless. Been wanting something that I couldn't kill in one shot from my sword or gun.
I believe so. The same happened with the 1.6.X version. Someone had made an unofficial port. I was given a copy of it. Silentine didn't have any issues with it.

Never... 1.7.2 is useless and it deprecated already.
When he finds time to do it.
A little gift from me to all of you!

PS. Seems you weren't around when 1.3 came out...

please do share with us your mods... They have to be minecraft mods though. Modding for other games isn't as frustrating as modding minecraft.
