And on the Tanuki Merchant, I think you should be able to sometimes find one in NPC Villages (like one per village), but also be able to craft a spawn egg for them that is expensive, like requiring things that are hard to come by or Lots of diamonds or something...
10. I have already revealed half of them in my past posts. Technically 11 because I removed the Dark Knight but exchanged him with a more... larger version.
Remodelling is currently in progress. I have remodelled 4 so far. They are not new models but I simply upgraded/slightly changed their current ones. They do make a difference though.

yeah, iv'e tried doing that too. i guess it's because she's a different mob and those boots are only supposed to work on you since there's only one mob that can try them. yes, the player counts as a mob.

There's got to be a better way to keep them alive. It made me sad when I realized the teleporting thing for companions doesn't activate until both of you are near/on the ground. Also, with the Boots of Striding line of equipment from Thaumcraft, it seems to be possible to jump completely out of their spawn range and cause them to despawn or something to that effect. So bummed out.
well i think the problem is is that you make them despawn along with the chunk. so basically they're just a saved entity that's in a unloaded chunk. iv'e tested this before but it was like 5 months ago. i flew away from my maid using creative until she was in an unloaded chunk, then landed. no tp. flew back, but she still wasn't visible, landed, tp. so it's just that you jumped too far for her to teleport. BTW wooo! 1.3 out today! i'm not going to update damnitt... i have too many mods.

The blush is not really a change; it is simply the pink blush which Dryads, Maids and Mermaids have. I have yet to test and code my mod completely so the designs of my mobs are still subjected to change at the moment. I currently am thinking of making a Minotaur Girl (Spawned by Minotaur as minions) and remodel the Slime, Spider and Zombie Girls. These 4 are the last things I plan to get done before I wrap eveything up for 1.1.0.
I do not think I can include one in NPC villages without modifying the base files. The merchant is going to be a craftible egg and will not spawn naturally. I am thinking along the lines of Gold Ingots and an Egg for the recipe.
i think this mod needs a tamable mob like the succubus with more tiers
I believe there is already a Succubus mod but unsure if it will be updated. Companions is something I really do not wish to get into because I hate the present companion AI in Minecraft.

I honestly am beginning to think I am spending a bit too much time on this mod. When 1.1.0 is released I will probably focus on bug fixes and take a break from updating this mod constantly with new mobs.
As the current version stands now I feel I need to make 1.1.0 a big update which should fix the drops and even out the mod.

well... there's a good way that'll keep them alive for a long time. half inventory of sugar and diamond armor for them. yes... i have that many diamonds... and i even have diamond armor for myself. and i get more diamonds regularly. i'm damn lucky dude. but just now i beat the Enderdragon legit. but i found the Stronghold with Eyes so... *whistles*

I am not really sure how long I started coding. Minecraft was not the first time I tried coding. If I was going to give a specific answer, most likely around 2001 (Made my first game). But I was not really into coding and eventually shifted interest. Despite being different languages (C++, Delphi) and being very basic, maybe everything I have learned so far somehow contributed into learning how to code in Java.
Just watch/read tutorials and experiment with code. You will eventually get the hang of it. I started modding for Minecraft around mid May 2012.
Anyway it's good to see there's normal discussion here, unlike every other mod thread where idiots are spamming '1.3 came out an hour ago why is it not updated yet???!!!' and 'it should have been updated a week ago that's what 1.3pre was for'.
Luckily my mod is not popular enough to attract such individuals.

That is great though, because look what I read on Modloader anyways:
the prerelease is identical to the final release of MC 1.3. the modders were supposed to get the prerelease, decompile it, and update their mod(s).
No, the pre-release is not identical. There's a reason the release is called 1.3.1. There were bugfixes, and not only that, but the pre-release was broken and could not be properly modded.
