recently started FTB Ultimate, so this refers to the 1.4.7 version of the mod. giving your barrels+routers a go with an automated sorter for my quarries. spent the better part of an evening power-leveling through mystcraft, collecting pages for writing an ez-mode book for those thauminan obsidian things [with the wisp spawners] and barrows. basically extreme hills superflat. all this for the GD logic matrix programmer. found one in the first five minutes of generating the age and while working my way back to the link, stumbled across another. as soon as the second programmer hit my inventory, fps dropped to 1-2 [from 150-ish]. deleting one of the programmers immediately removed the lag. anyone else experienced this, and how does this bode when i need to have the pogrammer duplicate itself?
Hi, I'm trying to debug an FTB turtle-based treefarm. As most people know, wrathlamps cause issues with this kind of thing. At first I had used a wrathlamp to light up the farm and quickly realized that the invisible lightblocks were preventing my turtle's bonemeal from growing saplings. So I removed the lamp, but now I still have certain saplings (on certain blocks) that do not want to grow. My suspicion is that there are still residual invisible light blocks around somewhere. Is there a way to change the texture of these blocks? Do they even use a texture? I think that would be the simplest way to pick them out. And honestly, I would love to just be able to see where they actually are.
Alternatively, if someone knows where, in relation to the wrathlamp, that invisible light blocks are placed, that would be interesting knowledge as well. Although it won't help me too much as I don't particularly remember the exact location where the lamp was anymore.
I'm about to start a public server with your mod installed. Client side is downloaded in one piece, but the server side is not shared, so I call this a private modpack. The name of it is Minecubes.net Magitech 2.0 (Season one was FTB-Mindcrack based). Flavour is hitech+magic, with a bitter undertone of hardcore difficulty. Season one had 500+ unique visitors, 10-15 players daily with 30 at peak.
I will be including Factorization in a private modpack that currently has 7 users, but at max I play to have 20 to 25 users. It is a mod pack that closely follows the same mods available in the FTB ultimate pack, except more up to date and manged by myself. All users of my pack must manually download the mods from the proper minecraft forum post or official website. In the case that an outdated version is no longer available on the official websites or minecraft forums, it is temporarily hosted on dropbox until I have time to update to current versions.

Running with the FTB Ultimate pack, and for some reason randomly when players use factorization machines, in particular the Slag Furnace, the server will suddenly stop responding, no error messages, no crash, the process just seems to lock, and I have to kill it and restart it, it never comes back. All users are kicked with a read time out message. Doesn't happen if no one uses the factorization machines, and seems to be being caused in particular by the slag furnace. Any ideas on what's going on here, or what could fix this? It's the final 1.4.7 version.
i found a bugg: i can't seem to make a solar turbine. I've made the motor and the fan glass arround but the recipe is not working....
you can see it there
I assume you are playing in 1.5.x? Because, the solar turbine was separated into two blocks, one is the solar boiler, and the other is a steam turbine. You use the boiler to make Steam (Railcraft compatible) which you send into the turbine to make power.
Hello, My name is Drecondius and I am making a post to State and Ask (at the same time lol) about using Factorization in a Private mod pack for our little minecraft community. I'm in the process of finishing up the pack as it is and would like your blessing if you will.
Current style of theme for the pack would be "Shadowrun" if you will where magic and technology clash
Will be on the FTB launcher once finished (I hope )
Have a good day.

Edit: The expected usage is no more than 20 people. If that, currently only 6 people even know it exist, with the exception of course of this post

This mod may be used in modpacks under the following conditions:
1. There is a post in this thread that the mod is being used in a modpack. If it is a public modpack, then it must include the pack's name and the website or URL where the modpack can be found. If it is a private modpack, then mention this in your post. (I would like the post to contain also a description of the modpack and an estimate of the number of users, but this isn't necessary.)
I am using this mod in my FTB modpack, 'Warfare'. It is technically a public modpack, anyone may use it, however I am only expecting friends and friends of friends to play on it. Everyone else must simply figure out that the pack exists.
Description of the modpack: A combination of FTB mods plus the Universal Electricity API system thingy (the stuff in Voltz). The idea of the modpack is to smash high-tech equipment up with hostile players and watch the boom. Really, though, I love both FTB and Voltz, so I created this modpack so my friends and anyone who loves both FTB and Voltz can have fun blowing each other up and investigating the wonders of magic and bees at the same time.
There should be an option in the config file:
Setting that to true will show them.
I believe so.
You can remove it if it doesn't work.

Try re-downloading Factorization. Actually start fresh with all your mods, because something seems to have screwed up.
