Actually those photos are just temporary files that the mod doesn't use at all. They are saved when the photo is taken (because taking a photo is internally the same as pressing F2) and then they are resized and the resized version is saved with the regular map-data (in saves/YourMapName). I could delete them but I just left them there if someone wants the full-size image
