Tried it, really adds a new experience to Minecraft, but I really think you should only allow evil mobs to have elite counterparts. It's kinda silly to fight a boss cow/squid that farts poison and explodes all the time.
Also, maybe you can add a special tint to Elite mobs, like in Diablo, to make them stand out more
Right now I can only identify Elite mobs with the boss bar, which doesn't always work properly though.
Also had a few times that the boss mob dropped XP, but didn't die yet.
The elite bat was really cool though, but that's the only good one from the passive elite mobs imo.
Just want to quickly say that I love this mod! It adds so much randomness and difficulty to the game, it's great.

When I play SMP with it installed and I find an infernal witch, the game crashes when i try to hit it but all the other mobs seen to work well. I don't have mods that alter the witch so what could it be? =o

Now every Mob joining the World through any means can become infernal (that includes eggs)
- fixed broken xp and enchantment dropping
- fixed a whole bunch of broken or not working modifiers
- fixed broken saving and loading of modifiers
- fixed clients inverting the mod order locally
there is a massive client/server mixup issue that i dont remember from last version, mc 1.4.2 yay
Fixing all the random crap that didnt happen in mc 1.3.2 took me the last 4 hours and the lives of hundreds (LITERALLY HUNDREDS) of Infernal Zombies.
It will work on some of them, those that extend EntityMob
Well, here is an odd thing: since I tamed that "infernal" ocelot into a cat, it retained the power.. for a few login sessions. Then one day I found the cat without any power. Worse, no more infernal mobs appear no more, even on other games. I came here last night trying to update the mod, to see if you resolve the problem - and also installed mo creatures. So far, no infernal mobs appeared as well.
In the config file, there is only an "eliteRarity" line; higher numbers means higher chances? Anyway, I will play with that number in order to see if the mod is not working or if I am just being unluck.

I attacked a rare mob with an enchanted diamond sword But this happens with every weapon, I dont know on my client there is no problem but the server still crashes.
Ahhhhh I give up. I've tried literally every possible combination of ways to install the server and the client, and I can't get it to work correctly no matter what. Is anybody getting it to work without any issues in smp??

It does support custom armor, which leads to amazing and horrifying things like zombies wearing IC2 nanosuits.
It was a bit unsettling to randomly encounter an enemy that cannot be killed. Gonna do some science to this guy while I've got him in the hole.
UPDATE: Regenerating zombies in nanosuits can be killed. Eventually.

Perfect to add a degree of difficulty in the game and do not change the game's source
And support for the mobs of other MOD
I am very concerned about the update, one immediately see the updated installation and testing
With version 1.4.2, zombie will automatically pick up the players to drop the weapon, very challenging.

Got it. Also, it works now - it was a mistake by my part. I just faced a Mo Creatures' Infernal Werewolf. o_O

I'm getting the exact same error. The mobs spawn fine and stay spawned fine, but when you try to hit them you crash, right?
