I can't say I'd be much help, since I already have a pretty busy schedule (between home-schooling and my own personal projects). I'll try to help as much as I can, though
Well, I am looking for developers willing to put some work into this. Even advisors who can guide me. NCM is a huge mod and I am only one man with basic programming skills.
Just goes to show how amazing Eloraam is with RP2. I couldn't imagine the amount of time she has put into it.
Do you already have a basic mod set up? If you're waiting on eloraam to release an API, you should spend some time getting a few basics out of the way (config, blocks, items, tileentities, proxies, renderers, etc.).

I've learned basic java; however, that doesn't seem to cut it and I've had to relearn a lot of it. I'm also trying to understand forge and looking into my render options... it's all a bit new to me... so no. Not much in terms of a basic mod so far. Nothing that will run anyways.
Right now I am working on textures, item lists, theoretical mechanics and functionally. I have to have a blueprint before I can build.
The majority of this was to get feedback from the community to see if it was worth working on in the first place and to see who I could recruit.
Awesome concept, the best part of it ti that retains the charm of red-stone circuits but giving them a lot of elegance.
Btw, about the algorithm to be used, maybe while the block that is used to assemble [the assembler] the integrated circuit starts running, it can make X calculations per tick, so it starts simulating every combination of input/output and writing it on a table (or that multidimensional tree which hydrogen was writing about, but my brain kind of sucks when it leaves the 2D, so for me its a table XD) that way the more complex the circuit is (and consequentially more CPU-heavy to emulate and generate its tree/table ) needs more time to be assembled in-game while giving the server more time to construct its I/O table. Once the I/O table its complete, the server just needs to run it every time an input changes.
Thank you very much, I tried to stay true to the look and feel of RP2. It was, after all, my inspiration.
While most of what you said went over my head completely, I did catch on to a bit of it. I like your ideas actually.
I borrowed some ideas from VSWE and his cart assembler which would require power to complete the chip assembly process over time. The more complex the circuit, the longer it would take. Adding any layers would increase assembly time exponentially. I haven't implemented that concept into my design yet, but I was thinking it would require the HV Blutricity from RP2 to power the assembly machines.
This assembly time, like you said, would be more forgiving on server tick and allow all the calculations to be run without issues.
i think thats the right way to go everybody who wants to make an RP addon should make a post like this as soon as she sees something that she finds really awesome she will think about dumping her no addons policy
maybe its even this mod it looks pretty awesome
I was hoping to impress her... or at least catch her attention with this concept.
I'm rethinking my whole approach to this mod as "the first RP2 addon". I don't want to mislead or overstep my bounds. Perhaps I should stick to my own and leave RedPower out for now.
Or maybe something like this?
The thing is, modders like ChickenBones (WRCBE) have been able to integrate RP2 into their mods. Are those not essentially an add-on to RP2 seeing how it requires her mod to function properly?

wrcbe needs redpower to function. if you dont have rp2 you wont get the actuall wireless stuff, only the items
In tags,it's writed it's for 1.4.5,but RP is not yet updated,so,how to use it?
do you wait an update of RP before release?
As mm865 posted, yes, my mod relies on RP2 to function at all. I will have to wait for RP2 to be released and to hear back from Eloraam before anything goes public.
I am glad this is now moved from concept to WIP. I am very interested in testing this mod once it is ready, as im sure elloram is working hard on the next release of red power.
Amazing. Simply amazing. This right here is the stuff.
Could I ask a question? Then give a suggestion?
How does the nano circuit table assembler work? No, I don't want your code. I mean are the individual squares simply slots where a TileEntity item can go? And please excuse me if I say something dumb, but say it like I know what I'm talking about. Cause I probably don't. Or are they dependent on redpower in some subtle coding way? Could theoretically any redstone like device go in them?
That brings me to my suggestion. If the coding is not dependent on redpower, but instead the table is just kinda useless without redstone devices. Why not develop a few yourself? Maybe not as extensive as redpower. But a few redstone transistors, maybe a timer, OR/AND gates. That kind of thing. The idea behind this mod is good and well developed on its own. With a few tweaks it could be something really special in its own right. And then when redpower is released this mod will be that much better. And I would hate to see this disappear because of something like Eloraam sticking to her guns about the no addon policy. That's her right, it would just be disappointing.

Theoretically, yes. Any redstone device could use the assembler; however, this is not my intended usage. For the time being, I am solely focusing on the interaction with RP2 logic gates and wiring but... if Eloraam refuses my request then I do have an alternative that I have been going over. The only issue I would have to face then is redesigning the recipes and blocks as I would not want to steal RP2's.

I understand where you're coming from and I appreciate the support. While I have given thought to designing NCM as an individual mod, I feel that integration with RP2 is where it belongs. Eloraam inspired most of this and to be separated from that just doesn't feel right. Most of NCMs functionality and mechanics rely on RP2 machines and tubes (which may be a huge mistake on my part) and I guess I should be more prepared when I come to the fork in the road.
At this point I don't really have a solution to the exclusion of RP2 mod items, but will surely find some alternative as to not leave all of you empty handed.
Keep an eye on this thread because I will be posting new advances and additional ideas to see how the community responds. It's great to get feedback from all of you, so please keep it coming. Suggestions are always welcome.
This mod is awesome. I really hope Eloraam approves because this is so great I'm so glad I stumbled upon this thread.
Minecraft isn't very realistic, but when it comes to wiring, its is way too unrealistic. In Minecraft a computer can get up to 100 by 100 by 20 meters. In real life they are less than 1 meter by 1 meter by 1 meter. Sometimes I have to wire up a contraption that takes up half a room, but in real life, wiring is so much more compact it would probably only take the size of my palm. If this mod was to be created, I could just plop a couple of Nano circuits in a table and create a couple of circuit boards and I'll be good to go. About the same amount of resources used. Way more realistic.
Please don't stop if Eloraam doesn't approve though. This mod has a huge potential. I love the idea of condensing circuits and I really thing that you guys should continue progress. Start from scratch if you have to, I'm pretty sure it will be worth it in the end because of how brilliant the concept behind this mod is. I and I'm sure many others will offer help, just please don't stop, I love this mod.
Also, a suggestion, I think you should add a bit more difficulty to the recipes, like using a diamond drawplate (nickel drawplate?) on the circuit board recipe, and maybe add some way of using tungsten ore as it is very rare and generally comes in veins of discrete sizes.

I'm hoping to replace that image with a download link!

Yes I know. That's why I said it wouldn't work properly. It would still load.
Yes, the plan is to be entirely RP2 compatible. An extension of the mod itself.
yes

Thank you!
Please note that until I officially have approval from Eloraam, this mod will not release.
Sweet! Best wishes to you sir
Thank you.
Updates coming soon.
