Hey, great mod! Made myself a gold sniper bow. I have a lot of flicker when I use the scope though, like the background flicker heavily if I stay within 0-1 for zoom settings. Not sure what's up with that.
*Edit* Yeah the flickering is so bad it's unbearable x_o I think I will stay away from scopes. Had to throw away me crossbow.
Anyway in prep for SMP we could get a different kind of mechanism that is the opposite of the rapid fire? Fires slower, but more powerful shots. So if you want a sniper as opposed to a machine gun it'd be possible

Yes, the flicker will be fixed in the next update if I remember.. :S
Thanks for the suggestion, I don't know how I'm going to go about adding new attachments/mechanisms, as every time I add one, the amount of IDs increases exponentially. I'll probably work something out.

Well there is 12000 I think. But when you are combining this with mods like IC2, Buildcraft, and RedPower, then you only have so many to work with. So far I have 120 combinations, and each one had an individual texture (that was the hardest part :P) and item ID.
It'll be fun on a server to show off our custom badboys to eachother.
That right there is my whole idea for the mod. Having something so customizable that you'll never memorize all the combinations I guess I'll have to add more attachments to get to that point though.
