with the knee modification could you maybe have a different version again where the knee doesnt just split the leg but keeps the two joints connected.
its hard to explain
I dunno about you, but my knee is about halfway down my leg... and there are no graphics for toes on player textures!
You're not taking into account the area for the foot on Steve's leg. The way you have it now, the knee joint is more than halfway down the leg because of it. But, if that's what you want.
Can't you just repeat the part of the texture that is normally displayed on that part of the player model's texture template? So, the front would not just be painted a little forward. The top can use that same texture. The front portion of the bottom and sides can also be repeated for the newly-extended toe portion.

I think you mean that the "rotation" point should be more in the middle rather than at the back side of the knee how it is now. Right? If so, I agree.

It's kind of a compromise. If I make the rotation point at the front of the knee, it makes the leg look WAY shorter when it bends. At a 90 degree angle, only 2 pixels stick out, compared to 4 pixels when the rotation point is in the middle. Besides, minecraft's a blocky game. I like how the knees are another way to remind the player of that. Everything's made out of blocks and pixels at its core.
by the way kodaichizero what did you think of my mooshroom idea
The mushroom part isn't connected to the mooshroom model, it's part of the renderer. And modifying render files sometimes conflicts with OptiFine. So I'm not sure I wanna risk it.
This is a freaking sweet mod!Just when you think there aren't Ideas left to make the game any better you go and come out with this mod.Props to you.Question though are you just thinking on working with the mobs or can you do stuff with the terrain? Like for instance dust storms in the dessert, falling leaves from the trees, wind blown grass and vines and maybe rapids....
Yep. Its incompatible with improved first person. Both mods change the xg.class file. When i used it with the improved first person, I could see the inside of my head. But the knees were awesome when i was in f5 mode.
If you can, can you make a new version of Bending Knees compatible with improved first person?
Most of it.
Zombie attacks, slime nuclei, and the animated stick don't work in SMP.
Almost forgot. The Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube enderman doesn't work in SMP.

Nice job kodaichi, I do have a request which would be, Which is making wolves lay down instead of sitting. Dunno if you can do it, but that'd be awesome if you can. Also i for some reason am not getting the wolves wagging their tail back and forth on SMP. I don't exactly know if this is a glitch or not. But yea.... And i do see their tails wagging on SSP.

Sweet! Now we just need elbows!

Thanks
Too hard. Actually nearly impossible. The item would have to move with the new arm position which is extremely hard to do.
