I don't think it would. Scripts work fine unless there is a bit of script missing somewhere or they aren't installed properly. Which ones are you using?
AaronRusselOct's script, Pentigan's Script, and Infearno's script...
The wiki only shows the ones which have a proper script in there, but I'll edit that in a sec to show that there are clashes.
But yeah, you'll need to get rid of the ones that you don't want like the default ones that come in Infearno's script.
Ahh, so I just install the mob scripts that are listed?
Just install the ones that you want. I assume that you want the ones that were listed, so install all of Pent's ones, all of Aaron's ones but only the Creeper and Enderman from Infearno's, replacing the ones that were in the default (if you downloaded that).
Removed all the custom scripts and installed the base ones... Spawned a creeper in the obsidian cage, and went through the 2 days of dialog. Moved closer, and the Creeper still blew up... I don't get it... :/
Wait what? I thought that you couldn't get the scripts working?
Ugh... I R smrat
Sorry about that. Yeah, most, if not all, hostile mobs are still hostile. It's a glitch which I think is currently in the process of being fixed.
Sorry for wasting your time there, I should have read back.
Oh okay... I figured that was the way it was, but @TheMusicBoy posted otherwise... In that case, I'll continue playing in Creative mode.
Thanks! I'll get to adding that command in (I didn't even know it existed).
Also, if you've used it, the Spider script is a bit fail. I forgot to remove a bit when I was mucking about with it, so there's some spoilers of a later plot point on day 4.
Mmm. Yes... It ends currently ends rather awkwardly...
Also noticed "cheeky" and "lie-down" Of course, "Location: That one place called England (What's an Eng?)"
What would be interesting, is if using the Talking stick brought up a GUI with various options... Like, "ask to follow", "ask to defend"... Stuff like that...
And, a "namer" (branding iron o_o), which would either allow you to name the mob, or give it the name that was set by the script...
[insert "can you make the mobs change to the creep_125 models when scripts say to?"]
Oh, so you are getting around to making a scene. ;D
And here I was thinking I'd have to make a sub-script plugin.

If you're callin' about the Mobtalker scripts, I no longer have access to them.
However, it's been getting tempting lately to put together a modpack that includes CustomNPCs, so I could definitely work in something along the same themes in the modpack's quests. Feel free to give suggestions of mods that promote an experience which minimizes mining grind in favor of exploration. I'll likely have to include Grimorie of Gaia to provide good models (No I'm not gonna directly change the default mob models)
Yeah, set up a bunch of geothermals from IC2, why do you ask?
Also, I wrote that location back when I was making alternate skins of Kodaichi's succubus mod.

You need to have a solar panel, some wires, somewhere to store the power and the panel needs to have a direct line of sight to the sky.

And there are those commands! Just they're not in a GUI specific format, they're in the script instead.
But those commands depend on a script, If the script is finished, You can't execute them... I mean more of an operation center thing where you can choose various things to say (how do you feel today?, follow me)...
And yet another suggestion... Multiple Scripts for mobs; every mob could have a chance of activating a different script.
Same result... Maybe it's the scripts I installed?
That would make sense. Maybe different scripts work in dofferent ways
Every script... I installed Infearno's first, then AaronRusselOct's, and lastly, Pentigan's script...
Not according to the wiki... Are you saying that I should remove the base files, and then install the new scripts?

Sorry. In past experiences, they weren't hostile any more. It may be an on/off feature, in that case
@ThrustCharge Good job on your scripts!

Yeah, It does have the escort command...
