I would like that, specifically so it goes along with the x32 Faithful texture pack? I can't seem to do a good texture myself so I'd be very grateful
Ah, well, I meant that you could make it for yourself in a few mins haha but sure, I can go ahead and whip them out. I'll let you know soon as I get around to it.
I like the mod better blocks, but I want you added the possibility to put the slabs vertically.
That's definitely on the list; however there are two issues that have kept me from working on it. The first is dealing with the metadata - I have an idea of how to get around it though. The second and much bigger issue is how the slabs would actually be placed, which honestly has me at a bit of a loss. I am thinking about it though and hopefully it's something that I'll be able to tackle in the future.
Do the 1.3.1 mods work with multiplayer then or not yet?
I'm not sure, sorry. Some, like Better Wood and Charcoal, almost certainly do - but I haven't tested any of them myself and I haven't heard from anyone who has.

Oh sorry for misunderstanding xD Well I've tried on multiple occasions but i can't seem to get the colors right
The new charcoal doesn't work, or is it just me Nevermind, why does Better Blaze Powder and Better Charcoal share the same configuration? better_blazepowder
These mods don't seem to work with Modloader Server for 1.3.1.
Better Blocks
Fancy Fences
Metal Rods
I haven't tested the other mods.

I, too would like to know the SMP standings. I hope you release these mods on the 1.4 API (in fact who knows they might be absorbed into vanilla- the wood stuff already has) and then everyone on CapitalCrack can play with them
At the moment most of the mods are not (to my knowledge) SMP compatible. I'm working on changing that, though!
The new charcoal doesn't work, or is it just me Nevermind, why does Better Blaze Powder and Better Charcoal share the same configuration? better_blazepowder
Whoops. That's definitely a typo, haha. Thank you for pointing that out; I've already made the fix and will include it in the next update.
Thank you for posting that. By the looks of it there's a bit of extra work I need to do to get the mods SMP-compatible. I don't know exactly what it is at the moment, but I'm looking into it and it's definitely a priority for me to get these mods working for multiplayer in the near-ish future.
I've always like the idea of a mod that changes and adds lots of small things to the game but doesn't change the core elements and experience of vanilla, and this is it! Really great work, looking forward to future updates :)
There was a bit of a bug with the log textures when the mod was first updated. It should work now if you re-download (fixed link), but please let me know if you're still having issues.
Thank you, very much.
If I could have your permission, may I [try to] make a Sphax PureBDCraft version of this mod? The logs should be easy, but the trapdoor would require much more. I'll see what I can do.
Thank you, very much.

Absolutely! Texture patches are only a good thing for allowing more people to enjoy this stuff the way they want to.
Using the Better Blocks & Items v1.1 with Minecraft 1.3.1
I'm having trouble with collsions box of stairs. Which ever way I'm facing when I place a "corner" stair, is the direction the collision box works fine. But if I try the other direction walking up the stairs, I'll get stuck and kind of "bounce" around on the client.

Looking into both of these now.
Edit: Might have been the wrong version on the wood. Going to throw in the config fix and hopefully improve collision on the stairs a bit, and I'll try and have an update out later today.
Edit2: Just tested the mod with a fresh install and the wood seems to be working as intended. Which version of the mod are you using?
Also I'm having a bit of trouble reproducing the stair collision bug. Could you please explain a bit more what you mean when you say direction? And is it the outer or inner stair-corners in particular that are causing issues, or both?
If you liked my post, click my license and +1! Thanks!

Oh, those are really nice (especially that first one)! Thank you, I'll post them with credit right away.
Glad you like it!

Looks nice otherwise.
Awesome decoration
