In the bspkrs version of this mod, he has a tag, dimension. This tag is not listed on the list of tags for your version of the mod.
Is this a mistake in the documentation or is this tag not in your version?
The tag will be available in the next version along with some other tags that I've missed. As we both have out mods on github now it should be a trivial matter to sync all tags from both versions (currently working on a script that will parse our mod files and give us a list of missing tags on one or the other side).
Speaking of dimension, I asked bspkrs and he said he might do dimension specific configs as having a tag with three outcomes and nesting that would be a nightmare. What's your take on the way to show different things in different dimensions?
What exactly would be saved in these dimension specific configs? My tag right now prints the text Nether, The End or Overworld, depending on what dimension you're in. I might even add support for custom names, but I'll have to think of a clever way to add that.
Edit: decided to push out the final 1.4.2 version of InGameInfoXML for Forge and ModLoader.
Quote from Changelog »
Changed a few things in the core file. Bumped the version, final version for 1.4.2.
Added "dimension" and "difficulty" tags. Moved the core functionality to InGameInfoCore.java
Added "mctimeh" and "mctimem" tags.
I am not used to xml scripting and am trying to make a script that converts the day to a day/month/year setup. So I am just wondering if anyone already made one?
This is what I have so far, but I have yet to test it.
This should get the current day of the year, as in day 72 of year 5.

<value type="str">$fDate: $e</value>
<value type="sub"> <!--This gets the current day of the year -->

Also, are the xml tags limited to the list in the op?
There is a rare mythical button called "Search" that likes to answer questions; however, due to its nature, it often blends in with its surroundings so as to remain hidden.

I'm not sure if that will actually work.Though, once I have some more time I can add a date tag if you want it (using the given day tag to calculate it is a waste of resources).
As for the XML tags, if you mean things like day, mctime etc, then yes, they are limited to that list (if you want to check an up to date list it's best to check the github sources).
They would just be the regular config you have now but would only show in the specific dimension so you would be able to show different tags in different dimensions. So when you change dimensions a different config would load up.
I'll probably talk over this with bspkrs and we'll see what we can do.

A date tag would be nice. I currently have it successfully displaying the year and current date of the year, getting month and day however is turning out to be even more difficult.

My goodness... Once this mod updates to 1.4.4, you know I will be using this for my witch farm build, no doubt. This maybe a little cheaty, but, I don't mind.
Whatever makes the game more enjoyable for me, I'm gonna use.
What kind of values should I put for MonsterSpawnHighlighter checking if my GPU doesn't have any problem rendering things but CPU is the bottleneck?
I'd pick less things to check (up to X mobs, that should lag less). I haven't really had time to update MSH, but I'll get back to it this week probably (was busy working on Schematica).
Thanks. It appears that I've missed a little detail there. Will be fixed in next version.
Also, updated ModLoader mods to 1.4.4. I'm not sure if it's just me using MagicLauncher or not, but I can't run them in normal Minecraft (ModLoader crashes). They work fine in Eclipse.
Yeah, tried typing that in from memory while stuck in traffic. Here's what it actually looks like, and I'm trying to get the timer to appear only when non-zero, IE there is an effect active.

Hey, is Monster Spawn Highlighter supposed to work in SMP? I don't see the keybinding showing up in the options, and I can't see the overlay, even in total darkness.

Date is there just to keep them all in one list.
Just crash....
I have tried another your mods, great work by the way.
All but the last 3 should be possible (some of the things don't update on the client, like the HP, not sure about the armor etc).
Paste the error log that you get.

What exactly are you trying to do with that XML? You're missing a closing tag on line 3 and the if syntax is way off, whatever you're trying to do.

What the freak?
I didn't have that problem in Minecraft 1.3.2!
Edit:
Nevermind, it fixed itself after re-installing it!
I don't know what the freak was that all about!
My fps still drops to around 18 when I use it, but it's playable at least!
