How do I use it though and how could I make it show nothing if the player is non-existant or null?
It's in the latest release, I was simply linking the commit from Github. Comparing the name with an empty string should do the trick. I will have to change the distance though. It's supposed to return -1 if the X-th player is no available, not an empty string.

Any possiblity you could give me exact documentation? (for .txt)
I am using InGameInfo. Now it is almost a must-have But I am missing a small function: The info about the actual tps. Sometimes the tps on my server are dropping very low and I would like to keep this info in view.
A command to reload the XML config would be very, very useful
Also, not really sure what the documentation would be. There's everything on the wiki and it applies to all 3 formats (didn't have time to add examples yet).
I don't really like the text format, not sure if I got it right.

Nonetheless, many thanks for this great mod!
TPS is not possible. The best alternative you can use is /forge tps.

Quick question, What's the name of the Active Redstone lamp? I wouldn't ask here normally but I can't figure it out; I've looked on wiki's and tried the ID/Name. lit_redstone_lamp or 124 don't work.
Thanks In Advance,
Jamie!
If you're trying to compare it with a tag from IGI, you must prepend it with "minecraft:", so it's "minecraft:lit_redstone_lamp". You can find out the exact name for any item with the "mouseoveruniquename" tag.

You probably wanted to display the icon instead of the 3D block (can't be displayed at all because there is no renderer for it). Even though it doesn't matter, the "num" type should be only used for numbers. Also execute "/igi save InGameInfo.xml" to convert to the better/shorter format.
That can't work as it parses as a variable (nearbyplayername0), string (: ) and another variable (nearbyplayerdistance0). You'll either have to use concat to merge them into a string OR use the following thing ("{...}" inlines a variable into a string, effectively making it a single string ({nearbyplayername0}: {nearbyplayerdistance0})):

How could I contact them? I tried the {} earlier but it always returned null
And also can you take a look at the double player and always null results?
What Language is this most like?
I've done coding before but nothing like this format, I know my code is a mess as I've been blindly doing it with the documentation on the wiki page.
Thanks!
Edit: Oh wow, Much nicer to code with; Still don't fully understand it but I've greatly improved my code:
-snip-
It's just XML (stricter HTML) trying to "copy/imitate" a few things. Some may be closer to other programming languages, other not so much.

Don't know what I did wrong earlier...can you take a look into the names not updating with distance and there being multiple of the same name?
The code you pasted previously checked against "nearbyplayername0" in all 3 instances. That could've been the issue. Other than that, nothing should be returning null, I'm explicitly checking against the size of the array before I use the index.
Does the 'slimes' variable for ingameinfoxml work on servers? because for me, it does not seem to...
Not at the moment. The server doesn't send a seed as part of the world info anymore. I'll eventually add a command that will allow you to set the seed.
Would it be possible to add an option in InGameInfo XML so that the display is hidden when TAB is pressed to show the player list? Just like the option to hide when chat is shown? I have some info showing top centre and it obscures the top few entries on the player list.
Like <np[0]> <npdis[0]>
to show the nearest player's name and distance and that can take up to three players (tags 0-2)

I don't think it's possible
<if[<not[<equals[<nearbyplayername0>/]>[<nearbyplayername0>: <nearbyplayerdistance0>m]]/]>

/igi reload
How would it be in json?

This is my text format:
Thanks

No, it relies directly on the seed.
Dont think it's possible, do you mean &k for chat formatting?
