I'm trying to get InGameInfo XML to display the remaining durability of my armor at the top of the screen, as a percentage. I have absolutely no experience with XML, so I grabbed a code found in this thread to display equipment damage, with colors, and modified it a bit. This is what I came up with:
I want to use round because without it, the game shows a rather unsightly amount of decimals, but with it... nothing appears. Any idea as to why that happens? According to what I've understood so far, it should return the next value (the pct of the damage) with the amount of decimals specified in the following value (0).

That sucked having to quit/rerun minecraft so many times... Lunatrius... an ingame reload would ROCK... my minecraft has 130 mods... takes forEVER to reload

I plan to do that, I just don't know how exactly I should do it (the client can't parse commands for some odd reason).
Also:
Added itemquantity and equippedquantity tags.
Added trans/translate tag.
Updated version.

Awesome! Take your time, but hopefully it will happen before we have another major Minecraft version switch... I hate how minecraft updates so friggin often
P.S. This is why my minecraft loads so slowly [Image [497x1852]]:
It seems that "InGame Info XML" either doesn't support it or I just didn't find any documentation how to do it.
I'd like to be able to either define offsets for the various "alignment" values or have an option to set precise coordinates for "lines" elements. I think the non-XML version supports at least offsets.
In some cases, the pre-set locations are occupied by either other Minecraft mods (such as a Minimap) or by external components such as a channel logo when streaming Minecraft sessions on Twitch.tv or similar platforms.
In my case, the only free space I have is the top-left corner but this is where my channel logo goes so I'd have to shift the InGame Info output down by some pixels.
You can offset them currently by adding empty lines with whitespace characters. I use the same thing to bring the bottom center text above the hotbar.
Maybe - in the future - we might even be able to use more than just text and have some nifty little icons for visualizing things like daytime, surface weather conditions and more.
I was already thinking about that and the only thing I really have to think about is a way to implement it so it will be easy to use.
I am using multimc and have installed forge into .jar and Monster spawn highlighter but it isn't showing any squares anywhere! Is there anything I have to do before it will show up? I have already tried pressing L but it just shows a menu.
Edit: There is no error showing in the log btw.

did you see the tutorial i did, its in the front of the thread.
Lunatrius, regarding InGame Info XML, might there be any way to add tags for health, armor, hunger, and breath? Specifically, I'm looking to, hopefully, replace the four related meters with textual output as, for me, it is a lot easier to read a number versus reading a bar of icons.
If possible, could we have it deal with the actual values as opposed to the amount of hearts/suits/haunches/bubbles (twenty health in total, but ten hearts, etc)? Or perhaps two sets of tags for those.
Also, and this is a long shot I'm sure, but a tag for the block we currently have the mouse over. NEI has an option for that (Highlight Tips) which has no support for being moved, and is generally fairly buggy acting, so if I could replace this with a few lines here, that would be great.
Thank you!

i am having a problem with the monster spawn highlighter mod. in the past it was working fine, the way it was suppose to, but since the modpack i use got updated.(this mod isnt in the modpack). the mod stopped working right.
for example, i am in a grassy area, and only some of the blocks around me are green, the rest have no change.(they are within the radius)
i am mining and the light level shown by ingameinfo mod is in the red, but the blocks are not blue.
i enabled it with all mobs on.
it does the same thing for both squares and guides.
also with ingame info, how do you make a blank line on top, since modular powersuits uses the top left line, and it doesnt look good when they overlap
Any chance for a 1.5 update? I guess since only forge's beta (?) version supports 1.5 yet the chance is slim...
Go read the forum rules... posts asking for updates are not allowed. He'll update when he has time. I suggest you go make a donation to give him some motivation.

I use the percentage funtion to display different colors after the armor wears down, notice the boots?
I think what you want though is:
I got those last 2 lines after adding this:
I thought it would show 96% and 10% :/
So.. after playing around with the second param to round...
I now see:
Dunno how to get rid of those last 2 decimals... gonna try "0"zero next
Hope it helps
Edit wheee.... zero decimal points... derp...

By any chance could i get the change log files for all the mods, if u want i can do a review/how-to video on them if u want?
That would rock,
files read from a set location... hope this happens
You could even allow type image_id ... 104 to show any image from any block/tile in the game, mods included.

Obviously Forge v7.7.0.600 changed lots of their API for Minecraft 1.5.1, so IGI failed to load on Forge 600/MC 1.5.1, here is the error log:
So each new release of Minecraft will have new obfuscation/class mapping? I see.
Don't want bug report like this? Also fine by me.
