Let me start off and say, This mod adds alot of new AI functionality to skeletons, and later on other mobs.
Main features:
Skeletons have finite arrows, they start with 8.
Skeletons will pickup arrows on the ground, and if they run out, they will go collect 4 arrows from the nearby terrain(8 block radius).
If skeletons run out of arrows, and there are none nearby, they will pull out a sword and charge at you.

Possible Future: I will change most of the mobs AIs and likely, rename the mod.
Maybe they could rarely spawn with armor too, or quivers to hold more arrows.
I would think they'd never have anything better than low-quality leather or iron armor, though; first, leather, because archers would never have used heavy armor in the first place, and iron, because you could make the argument that these armored skeletons aren't standard, "recon"-type (light, fast, and relatively quiet) archers, but rather ranger-types who are capable of both ranged combat and close-in fighting, and as such would likely be better equipped to take a few scrapes; and second, low-quality, because, let's face it -- they're dead -- which means either they have been around a looooong time (think: decaying/deteriorating armor) ~or~ they were killed wearing that armor, chances are it either sucked to begin with, or took some damage from their last battle. I could be way of the mark on this, but them's my two cents.
If it turns out that we need more of a challenge, someone can always just code in a few new skeleton mobs. I'd have more fun playing something like that, than Skyrim.

What exactly do the screenshots show? I only see skeletons and a spawn egg and a piece of stone above them.. Lol.. Anyways, Cool mod, changing the AI's to all mobs will be cool. Would like to see what you can think of. I want to see for myself how this mod works and if its cool, Can I make a spotlight tomorrow? (It's late now) And I personally hate skeletons but minecraft on hard is still easy just skeletons are annoying. Here are some ideas I can think of, Since you know how to make a mob pickup items, what if a zombie picks ups near by gunpowder you didn't pickup from killing a creeper and that zombie get the ability to explode but you wouldn't know because they keep their zombie skin and you get close to him and BOOM he explodes. One more, What if any mob (Maybe mainly skeletons) picks up a spider eye and when the mob attacks you (shoots you if only skeletons) you get poisoned and another, if you right click a mob with a mob drop (string for spider, gunpowder for creeper, bone for skeleton) the mob you right click on will be on your side and kill that specific mob you used with the drop BUT, they can't kill their own kind and if you do make them they will get more mad at you and get stronger or something idk.. maybe to much? (with the more mad thing?) But yea.. Those ideas literally came to me while writing.. Um yea k bai. Gonna go test the mod now..

This looks great, one of the things ive always wanted was smarter mobs Can you pick up skele arrows and do the skele's pick up your arrows if you miss, im not sure if many people would like it but i certainly would.
As for pics, you should use imgur, ive used it and have found it works great.
This is minecraft. You get attacked by the undead and fight dragons. You can carry over 25 beds with you at one time. Logic does not apply in this game.
Just woke up, Here's my decision: skeletons will spawn with a change to have some armor, and they may have a few more or a few less arrows(random, maybe 5 and 12?) Also, I will create a new mod for all the mobs AIs.
As for the quiver, I might be able to draw a sprite on their back, or just change their texture, animating it is beyond me, but I might try.
If you kill a skeleton that has 12 arrows, will you get 12 arrows? If you kill a skeleton that has leather armor, will you get some kind of leather armor?
I like how you upgraded an existing mob, not make a new one. You could try upgrading other ones, too, like a running zombie or a spider that lays eggs...

DO WANT. Current skeletons = lame. Creepers still scare me, but aren't a threat out in the open. I need a worthy opponent to keep me on my toes.
