What's the durability of the armor and tools? I'm guessing a lot, because the sword does +10 damage!! The difference between the neptunium sword vs the Diamond Sword is the same difference between wooden and diamond. Wow.
You should really add crabs/lobsters to ocean biomes and crawdads to river biomes. Then add crab pots and lobster traps. It'd be perfect. Oh, and talk to Jeb, he might want to make your mod's content vanilla stuff. Would expand on fishing even more.
Thanks to this, I can enjoy 1.7-era fishing in 1.6.4! Yay!!!!!!!!!!
@Shadowclaimer Are leeches intentionally useless? Maybe those who don't have a lot of iron can use them to cure hunger and poison, at the cost of a few hearts. Based off of real research into medicinal leech usage in medieval times and rarely in modern times.
Edit: Any idea why no one has posted for three days now? I really hate having to hold up a thread to prevent it from becoming a necro topic.
Edit2: It said this mod is compatible with any biome-adding mod. Does that include mods that make biomes colder, such as the ChristmasCraft mod? It doesn't change the biome names, just makes em colder to support snow everywhere, for a Christmas-y feel.
So, this is probably close to being necro by now, but has anyone continued Aquaculture yet? I know ShadowClaimer said (via Twitter) that it, along with Agriculture and Metallurgy, are open source for anyone to continue. Has anyone bothered?
So, of the five modders who's content I use, that's two down. Where is the source code?
That is a fantastic question and I wish I knew but, alas, it isn't publicly available. You'll have to PM ShadowClaimer, I think. I was thinking about picking it up but I want to get a bit better at modding before I try. If you want to do it, be my guest. As long as someone does it, I'm satisfied.
Great looking mod you've got here. I'm looking forward to trying it out in the new feed the beast pack. Anyhow, have you considered adding aquariums or other uses for the fish. Seeing as the mod is called "aquaculture," perhaps adding a way to captively rear fish would be cool.Not just for observation, but for food as well. Also, for the jungle biome, have you considered adding giant gouramis? In Asia, they are a food fish, reaching sizes of a little under a meter.
Side note: For all those that don't know this, the electric eel isn't an eel at all, or even remotely related. In fact, it is a species of knifefish, and many other related species can also produce electricity, but only enough to assist in navigation. Google it.

You really never bothered to read the posts above yours? Seriously., just above yours.
You know what I think would be a nice addition to the configs? something around the lines of where each type of "zone for fishing" is 1 - freshwater, 2- desert, 3-Tundra, 4- Ocean, 5- Rainforest, 6- Mushroom :
Set parameters for biomes below. Separate each biome and dependency with a ;
###EG. Biome # : Zone ID ; ###
42: 3;
18: 4;
This would allow people who put this mod into their modpacks full cross mod support by setting their own variables to the biomes from biome adding mods.

Yeesh - Stop necro-ing this thread. The modders have left and took their code with them. THIS IS A DEAD MOD.

Not quite. You can get the source if you PM him. Maybe if you ask on the topic, too.
Update: I talked to ShadowClaimer on Youtube for a bit. As it seems, at least according to him, there are teams who have picked up Metallurgy and Aquacraft. I'm unsure of Agriculture (as we didn't discuss it) but, I'd assume it was being reviewed as well. Just trying to keep the hopes up.

While I know most moderators frown on "Second!" posts... I really do have to second that idea.

Has he left Minecraft modding for Starbound modding?
Yeah, he has. RebelKeithy's Twitter has been dead for a while. Like a month or two.
Great.

Let's hope he get bored of Starbound quickly and come back here ^^
