Indeed I am using OptiFine, I thought that might be causing it and reinstalled it to no effect, but now I know that it's got texture display problems right now that might explain whut's going on..
in my Not Enough Items mod I Have all the latest mods download and when in recipe well any mode I cant see the items missiles and stuff included in the ICBM mod Please help me with this situation
I actually have a specific problem in updating a world, which I've been working at for hours. Perhaps someone can help.
My game has both Tinker's Construct and several UE mods installed. Both of these mods add copper and tin ore, but I had elected to use UE's world gen, turning off the copper and tin gen from TC.
However, the way basic components is installed in UE mods now, it seems to automatically defer to other mods' generation of ores. If I take out TC, then there are UE copper and tin, but if I put it back in, those blocks are removed. If I were to load up my world this way, all tin and copper ore in previously visited chunks would disappear, since the UE ore block id isn't even loaded.
One solution I have attempted: Turning back on TC's ore gen and trying to run mIDas gold to change all UE ore blocks in a world to TC ore blocks. Problems with running mIDas on a mac have prevented this method from working. Has anyone else had problems like this? Is there any way to force UE mods to load the ore blocks? Yea, Basic Components is not in the UE mods. I can't find any Basic Components wires and it is very aggravating. We really need the regular Basic Components back.
I can't even work out how to generate the electricity without the basic batt box or coal generator. I can craft the batteries and coal generator using the wiki way but they show up as "unnamed". I then tried to use the three unnamed batteries plus 6 steel to make the bat box and it's not showing up.
The batteries apparently don't exist in NEI and neither does the batbox yet they show up in recipes but I can't make them even with all the parts. I can see the advanced battbox and quantum battbox in NEI but can't craft them even with all the components.
It seems like the stuff from basic components is missing and it's causing some stuff in Electric Expansion to not work?
I've tried different versions of the mods but can't seem to fix the problem.
have a problem with that too, I added UE from the main page but I test run the mod in creative to see if any bugs but when I place the coal generator, the battery box or the electric furnace I cant access the HUD as if wasn't interacting. ? could I get help with that
BC is now integrated in all UE mods that requires it. You no longer need to download it anymore.

The latest 1.5.1 version of Basic Components appears to be working perfectly. The only issue is that it seems to bugger up some of it's own block textures and a few preceding ones in NEI. They're fine when viewing recipes/uses and in-world/game.

So how do we craft advanced battery box without the battery box?? whats the new recipe?
For now, install Mekanism and use the energy cubes instead. They should work with other UE mods as well. As for for advance battery box; I believe Mekanism has that as well, as well cables, and other stuff.
There are also crazy icon texture glitches in the Mekanism mod. When I have a universal cable in my inventory or backpack, it makes other item's icons disappear.
At least the new mekanism fixed the solar panel so you can actually craft them now.
There is still ONE mod that calls for the batbo and coal generator, Galacticraft. Problem is it doesn't work properly! Batbox, coal generator, and the other item with the same ID (I forget what it is) don't work with galacticraft *if* I install any other UE mods. They work fine normally, but if I put in any of the other UE mods the gui won't appear when I interact with them. I can still craft them and place them, just can't open them up to put coal or batteries in.
This mod works well enough on its own despite the lack of any mod items, but it fails to trigger other mod recipes. The power converters mod refuses to display its UE blocks because it doesn't detect the mod. I got around this by installing basic components for 1.5.1, but the converters don't seem to connect to the outdated version.
Does anyone have a solution- either to enable the new version or fix the old?
Edit: I'm an idiot, and now realize that the core mod is a modding API. Regardless, is there a way to get my original recipies and power converters support back?
