So, I recently installed this mod for my boyfriend, and everything was going smoothly (save for the fact that I accidentally installed the wrong forge in the beginning... oops). I got him to pick a pokemon and all was good! Until it crashed after taking a few steps. I booted it back up and again, another crash, this time shorter:

I can see that you guys have a very impressive customer service (I... I don't know what else to call it..). I don't wanna let him down, he was so incredibly excited... and I will be honest, this mod got me pretty excited too! Besides this little speed bump, I was impressed!
**EDIT** So, as I was trying to fix the problem via search engine, I came across an old issue that Mr. M had stated; which was that MCpatcher is sort of causing the issue. I am going to try this, and if I get positive feed back I will let you all know.

The crash is definitely caused by mcpatcher's colorizer mod. You should be able to disable that easily enough though
Awesome mod! It seems pretty realistic and I'm excited to see gyms and other aspects of the game come into play. So far, the only thing I've noticed is that on mareep, using shears don't cause wool to drop. With my starter pokemon out and not being able to hurt the mareep, I had to resort to drowning 3 of them to create a bed. I noticed that you can use a bucket and get milk from the miltank though, so no drowning needed for that. Keep up the good work!

Yup, I just opted out and installed Optifine. It's better anyway. The only problem now is that on his minecraft, we downloaded the optifine Ultra and it seems to want to crash his minecraft, whereas Optifine normal works good on my own computer. Has this been a past issue before?
Little off topic, Im having a lighting problem where some blocks arent being lit up correctly. does anyone know anyway of fixing this permanently without having to right click the spot all the time?

Optifine has been a past issue. I heard there was something about what you install first, pixelmon or optifine, that makes the difference.
I am making a pokemon map and i just found your mod , which is amazing btw , and i want to make somethink like spawners for pokemon to spawn at a specific location with the lvl i want them to !
Is it possible to do somethink like that ?
Not at this point, but you can spawn pokemon with the /spawn command. Pokemon name must start with a capital letter however, i.e. Rattata, Mew, Geodude
I'm running a server at the moment, and I put the trainer rarity to "0" yet I keep finding them
Should I try 200?
One last question, does the config file also apply for the server? Since I have Spawn normal mobs on true and I have yet to see a single mob that's not a trainer or pokemon.
Cheers
There is a pixelmon.config inside your server folder, in config/ I believe. In there it should change the spawn rates just fine.
Hope I helped guys

In the next update, could you please make the 3 brothers ? Entei, Suicune and Raikou
Please..............?
I don't think you understand how we work. We go in chronological order, meaning we start from gen 1 and progress as best we can. We accept a few stray models from other generations, but not something as serious as the legendary beasts. Those will come in the gen 2 era, which hopefully won't be too long from now. Next release has near a dozen new pokemon I think. Or more. We don't add pokemon in just on a person's preference, sorry.

Drawing's my game, Ace is my name.
The crash is definitely caused by mcpatcher's colorizer mod. You should be able to disable that easily enough though
This will be in the next version
Yup, I just opted out and installed Optifine. It's better anyway. The only problem now is that on his minecraft, we downloaded the optifine Ultra and it seems to want to crash his minecraft, whereas Optifine normal works good on my own computer. Has this been a past issue before?

Thats a minecraft bug - I hope they fix it soon.
Optifine has been a past issue. I heard there was something about what you install first, pixelmon or optifine, that makes the difference.
Not at this point, but you can spawn pokemon with the /spawn command. Pokemon name must start with a capital letter however, i.e. Rattata, Mew, Geodude
There is a pixelmon.config inside your server folder, in config/ I believe. In there it should change the spawn rates just fine.
Hope I helped guys

Please..............?
I don't think you understand how we work. We go in chronological order, meaning we start from gen 1 and progress as best we can. We accept a few stray models from other generations, but not something as serious as the legendary beasts. Those will come in the gen 2 era, which hopefully won't be too long from now. Next release has near a dozen new pokemon I think. Or more. We don't add pokemon in just on a person's preference, sorry.

As long as people abide by the basic rules of finish gen 1 first then we welcome all model submissions
