I have made a server and there are grey blocks and random blocks everywhere, is there a fix for this and is anyone else having the same problem? An answer would be greatly appreciated
I am having trouble installing this. I never downloaded a mod before. The video isnt helping at all. can someone give me a bit of help, or a better walkthrough?

Same problem here.
I went back to see previous posts to see if anyone announced a fix to this. Some say to use a Map Editor and regenerate chunks, others say it works perfectly fine and to just rejoin (Which doesn't work.)
A Definite answer would be very helpful. Thank you.
Right but think about the size of the gym if I would make a multi-room gym. There needs to be a gym, pokecenter, pokemart, and a couple houses or so. The size of the current village isn't that big and that's what I'm using as a workspace for the pixelmon villages. If Mr. M or anyone else on the team wants that area expanded, just let me know how big I can make the workspace and I'll work with it.
Have any of you considered building the battle arenas as vast open areas underneath the village, accessible through the gym building?
This would help to keep the village appearing to be the same size as normal, if you absolutely have to have an enclosed, indoor, battle arena.

I like the idea, but I was thinking about going more off some of the gyms during Ash's time in Kanto, namely Saffron City's gym. One room, gym leader vs. trainer. If I were to do a multi room gym I'll definitely use your suggestion, however I'm not sure with the way village spawning is, if it's even possible to spawn something under the grass layer.

Villages usually have the well which goes down a few layers, and desert temples have their treasure pit which extends down several layers, so I'm sure something simple could be figured out.
Either way, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

And make sure you drag the zip file into the -mods- folder. Or drag the database, mods and the other things IN the zip into the minecraft.jar (No drag and drop .class files this time... except for forge; delete META-INF for Forge is what I'm guessing? I did it and it works fine). Try that... But then again, I don't know what other things are wrong, except in the report, "...ticking world". I don't really know what "ticking" means at the moment but problems occur.... And black screen + crash, maybe you installed the incorrect version of Pixelmon or Forge... Say, what version of Pixelmon WERE you trying to install into what
version of Minecraft?
(I'm a "Full Stack"! Get it? No? ok........lwefpWAGTJWEN_)

I have 1 almost done, 1 room with the typical anime showdown stadium theme.... Pokeball in the floor with random aesthetic items around. The second one I'm working on is the underground 5 room gym, Fight your first fight in the upper level, then go down and walk a pathway through 4 more battles and finally the leader in the back room.
I have just downloaded the newest update today (1.9 Beta) And i belive i have done all the steps correctly, including deleting the META-INF and also the old Pixelmon.cfg
At first it started working properly all the way to the MOJANG logo, but then came up with a message saying something like 'you have multiple copys of the same file' and gave me both the old file name and the new file name. so i deleted the older .zip from the Mods folder.
Now it gets to the MOJANG Logo, then just remains black screen. I do not get a crash report.

Am I still missing something?
I've had this happen to me. Delete your .minecraft folder(or the instance folder if you're using a different launcher) and when you go to reinstall the mods delete the META-INF file BEFORE you install forge. Forge has a META-INF file in it, you don't want to delete it.

I always did delete META-INF before installing the forge.
But deleting the .minecraft folder did help. Thank you.
EDIT: Did the Recipes change? Or is that a new problem Im having? None of the recepies are working. Pokemon are spawning, i have my old pokemon crew, but nothing i owned before is there related to the mod. No pokeballs, no healing blocks or pcs, not even the anvil and hammer are appearing...

There's a BIG "Download Here" section in the OP, check there for a link.

Original Post? I don't know, but you can find the download in the Pixelmon Forums...

I see you're wanting an Articuno banner, so I made one for you.
Anyone else wanting to use it as well is free to do so.
Get WorldEdit and clear the chunks and it will regenerate itself. See if that works...
