You managed to fix a lot of bugs is this new release. Thank you so much!
I don't know if anyone reported this yet but with 3D items loaded, the items inside the "crystal chest" from the iron chests mod seem to rotate too quiqkly.
I think it is a bug because when I remove 3D items, they rotate slowly as expected.
You might want to look into this and thank you for this mod it is really cool!
Yes it does as long as you put 3ditems in "mods" and quinoptions in magic launcher. I just suck at reading instructions.
Actually I got it to work with magic with both files in a seperate folder (i.e. not MODs)
My folder for 1.4.4 Mods is /.minecraft/mods/1.4.4/ & I placed both files in this folder
In magic - I added them with '3ditems' ABOVE 'Quinoptions' in the upper box

I've noticed that as well. However, unlike the BuildCraft piped items, this has no easy fix. What I think I might do is make a patch that edits one of IronChests' files.

I see, I'll be looking forward for the patch. Thanks.
Hey, I installed the balkon's weapons mod and its items aren't 3D how can I change that
I can confirm this, but not with all the balkon's weapon mod items, it just happens with the spears, the knives, the javelin, the fire rod and the halberds. All other items seem to work fine.

For some reason, Balkon's mod uses custom renderers for certain weapons for some reason, which means they override the 3D effect thingy. Nothing I can really do about it.

I see, but is it possible for you to contact him in order to solve the issue?
Found a bug: ladders are not usable anymore, you go into it, but you don't climb it.
Mods that I use:
-Minecraft Forge
-Quin options
-Optifine
-Recipe books
-3D Items
when I take out the mod from the mods folder, I can climb ladders(and vines) again, I tried taking out
the recipe book, but still the bug when your mod is in mods folder.
I can't reproduce this bug, I can still climb ladders. Very strange...

Actually, I have an idea that may or may not work. See, 3DItems registers an item renderer to every item that doesn't already have an item renderer. In the WeaponMod, some of the weapons like the spear and the halberd have item renderers, so 3DItems can't make them 3D. However, I have an idea to get around this.
Love the mod, but just wondering. Is there a way to stop the items from bobbing around and rotating? I'd love to see a mod that makes items 3d without the bobbing/rotating effect.

Do you want the items to stay in place, or to rotate to face the player like the normal 2d items?
I will update this mod for 1.4.5 as soon I can figure one thing out: how to make it so you can have both 3DItems and QuinOptions installed in the mods folder, without QuinOptions in the jar.

Forge version only. Fixed IronChests2 graphical bug.

don't click this link...

That wouldn't really work out. Adding a 2D texture to a 3D sphere would just end up stretching and looking bad.
Actually, I just figured out how to solve this. I'll be posting an update in the next few days.
