Crossbows... Kind of wanted to get rid of them- being in the way. but kept them. Their the same recipes only the mechanism uses iron. But their in the PDF.. the images just seem to be missing
Normal and repeater mechs
Bolt box (for repeater)
Hand crossbow
Light crossbow
Repeater Crossbow
Heavy Crossbow (This fires arrows)
(Crossbows don't utilise the battlegear2 quivers, since that's designed for bows)
Thank you!
I love crossbows (it's cool) so it's a bit regrettable that crossbows are wanted to get rid of, but this mod is still (will become) greatly interesting. I will try some other bows too.
Crossbows are easier to aim and shoot, so even if you can't hit the broad side of a barn with a bow, you'll be able to hit it with a crossbow.
A weapon for the people too lazy to spend days learning how to aim and the bow's range, telling the range at a glance, etc
I wouldn't exactly call it a weapon for lazy people. More like a weapon for people who don't have time to become an expert marksman with a bow. Their ease of use and power was actually a big plus in the middle ages. You could throw a crossbow in the hands of a peasant, and with little training, he could take out a heavily armored knight who had trained his whole life.
ehh they'll still stay, i'm expecting some controversy over the whole MaB quiver dealy with them..
I was actually hoping that one day they'd get shown a little more love. But oh well. On a separate note, if you don't have a quiver and have different arrows/bolts in your inventory, how does it decide which ammo to use?
well they are from 2 different mods.. so you can't expect my crossbow mechanic to play nicely. bows are fine anyway. Crossbows(like bows without quivers) just fire the best one available. But what it does is fires arrows in order of registration so other mods may come first.. it's mainly just carry 1 sort of ammo

I've been having the same issue others have been having with the memory leak. the memory seems to slowly increase and lag more until freezes up and i have to force shut it down. it only seems to happen when this mod is on.
Got to say I am really enjoying this mod and so are some of my viewers! I got to say this is probably how vanilla Minecraft should be in my opinion. Anyway here is a playlist of my current episodes. I havent added the 4th video to it yet though as I just released it http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt4u7QOTcByDpjIWoHa-2jtqb5pcW5dGQ

Hm, yeh I noticed that a few days back, It's good that you're learning in the videos, I can actually use that to see how players take to the guide. so that's good. Bunch of minor mistakes you've made however, just I made the PDF over a few days and didn't really have much time to iron out the details.
anyway to generate minefantasy stuff on a existing world?
Never got it to work, and there's little information on how to find anywhere.
Also: About the smart moving render.
It's not this mod neither battlegear2 actually that has a problem: it's the render player API that has problems with the Minecraft Forge renders. battlegear2 uses them (battlemode) and MineFantasy uses them(for the aprons). so they have issues

You need to use MCEdit and load your world into that program. Then you would select all your chunks and repopulate. Then save and play and everything should be there!

Can You make support Smart Moving or Animated Player, or both?
With Smart Moving when struck with his right hand:
With Animated Player right hand moves, but weapon/shield - no:
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.
I believe that the issue is actually from the Mine and Blade mod, so posting here isn't likely to get you anywhere.

And the truth is, I'm sorry, mixed themes.
