Hi,
I gave the mod a test, had a few problems installing it because the actual contents of the mod were in a folder in the zip, so I manually put the mod's contents into a zip. Looks Great, although the pokeball has the sprite of a leather cap.
I would love to make a video of this mod, could you please update the sprite to the one in the main post, and also, if i do make a video, can you feature it on the main post?
1. Sorry about the folder in the Zip, I will fix that.
2. I use the leather cap for testing and forgot to add the sprite back in, I will do that in a minute.
3. Sure
Obviously I don't mind if you don't use it, it is your mod after all, and I just wanted to practice making pixel art on photoshop, but if you want a different sprite, feel free to let me know
Ok, now that I actually got a chance to play it, I see what you mean. It would be impossible to make it spherical unless you wanted to make the thrown object a 2D picture like the fire charges that ghasts and blazes shoot, which would be good too. I also have a few suggestions:
1. Make the empty pokeballs stacks, but not filled ones
2. Show the names of the mobs in the tooltip of the pokeball
3. give the pokeball back if you miss the throw (leave it on the ground where it hits)
besides that, it is awesome to have this mod again

I like this mod...simple, functional, and does what its supposed to.....May I make a few suggestions though?
First, as much as I like the Pokeball, I've always liked Ultraballs and Safariballs more...and all you'd need to do is edit the recipe at the corners, with the dye....sorry if my want of asthetics makes programming harder...or you could add the dye afterwards....to empty balls of course.
Umm....may I also suggest a recipe change? actually I have 2 different suggestions for the recipe....
My first is
:-( ):
[button]
which makes for a little more expensive pokeball, but it's only a suggestion
Another recipe is a shapeless one....but also includes an apple
:-( ): + + +[stonebutton]+*optional dye*=a Poke Ball
A cheaper version...
Up to you what you use though but I can tell you your current recipe involving redstone and coal conflicts with Forestry in that the same recipe is used to make compost...
Thanks
Forgot to mention that it requires Modloader... How bad of me >
Sorry bout that
Maybe, As for the sprite my friend may show me how to make it really good.
Oh i was quoting somebody that they forgot to install modloader.
I know I just wanted to reply to all the comments

Go away.
Fixed my mistakes
Has the right texture now, and now easy to install.
Also, I made a new sprite if you want to use it. I'll put it up here later tonight.
The sprite should be 3D soon though
what do you mean 3D? Here is the one I made:

Good job, I may use it.
I will take into consideration
I mean like an inventory cube, like a chest
Not exactly what I meant
Yeah
I know what you mean by the 3D thing now, so I'll try to make a new sprite tomorrow afternoon. Would you rather have it be a cube or sphere?
thought you would like to know
I don't know how those sprites work yet, my friend said he would teach me how to make it.
Yes.
Oh thanks for telling me, I will add an alternate recipe, or a config.
I don't know, haven't decided on what to render it like
yea the mod would not load at all due to recipe conflicts
also sorry for the double post y computer glitched
Thank you for the heads up
you are very welcome since i newer to the forum i am trying to build a reputation of being helpful when possible
plus i like the looks of this mod since i wanted this before without the mobs >.>
Glad you found it then
