this doesn't actually work, I have a logitech controller i go into controls and i press space, but it does nothing, i even tried rebinding the keys but it does nothing doesn't even register my controller. I've been able to play other games with this controller before, skyrim and fallout are what ive tried as a matter of fact when i press the middle button it even registers as an xbox controller, what gives?

From your description I can't really tell you what is wrong. Do you see any controllers listed on the screen?
What version of the joypad mod are you using?
Have you tried removing other mods and see if just the joypad mod works?
hey, i got everything up and running, even set up 4 guest accounts. At the end of it tho when ever i log into the third account it logs out the secound one even tho they are both filed with 2 different names I.E guest guest 2 guest 3. If any other info is needed plz inform i will supply you with it.

I'm not sure. Maybe your .json file is incorrect for guest 3 or guest 2.
Particularly look at the line in the .json file that says:
"minecraftArguments": "--username Guest --version ....
And make sure the --username is unique for each guest.
Otherwise, I would be very careful and create a new guest with a different name and see if that works.
Please help me.. I am using the Fighting Stick EX2 (XBox) and when I go to options > controls, they state there "No Controllers Found!"

I don't think it will work with that kind of arcade thing although it works with many other Interesting things, like for example an Logitech steering wheel

Thank you so much, FreeShiny and the gang. I have always wanted to play Minecraft: 360 Edition with more customizable controls than Preset 1, Preset 2, Preset 3 as well as have all of the blocks from PC edition 1.7. Plus, I can play with more than 4 people at once on one system.
Just wanted to let you know this mod has brought my kids and me MANY hours of bonding experiences. Without it, we could only take turns playing...now we play together as a family and they really love it. Thank you so much for all your work!

Awesome! I started helping out on this because I wanted to do splitscreen with my son. My 2 year old can get into it too if shes using the joystick and I'm controlling with keyboard/mouse.

Works like a charm!! Just great!
But I have one thing to address, the way movment analog stick works is just like W,A,S,D, you can move only in 8 directions. It would be nice if you would make that the analog works in every direction it supports.

Don't know. If the OS can see it as a joystick then this mod should be able to as well. Only way to find out is to try it !

To give you a bit more information, the shield device is not detected as an xinput device, but does expose standard xinput controls.
Don't know anything about the Nvidia Shield, sorry. Perhaps theres someone else out there that can help you.
