Hello, I had a crash with this mod, and I was wondering what caused it. I did everything the video said, (btw its on 1.3.2, I downgraded because I wanted to play this with my friend) and it just freezes on "Done loading" and gives me an error. Here is my cmd window:

If you could get back to me real quickly that would be great because my friend has to leave soon.
Thanks!
Edit: This was days ago, my friend already left, But I would still like to know why this is happening. Thanks!
I'm going to reply here in bulk, since there are so many people to respond to
First of all, thank you all very much for your support and feedback! I plan to maintain and improve the mod, so all your comments, ideas and support help me on the way. Keep 'em going!
Regarding the deadzone issues - it's definitely possible to implement, and I'll try to make it sooner rather than later.
Full analog movement - i'll investigate on how feasible it is. Right now the movement is digital - you either move in some direction or
not, like on a keyboard.
Mac support - I havent tested it, but in theory it should work as well just as on windows.
PS3 Dualshock and sixaxis - definitely should work.
Rapid cursor movement in GUI screens for XBOX360 controller - I'll see to implement an input limiter.
Besides all of the above, on my TODO list are also:
-Fixing GUI screens in SMP (most of them are not working ATM )
-Fixing sneak
-Toggable sneak and running
-Possibility to assign actions to axes besides player and camera movement (that should fix LT and RT on xbox 360 controller)
-traversing though menu with a controller
-graphical config (in game options)
-optifine compatibility
To the teh_mek: what you need to put in bin dir is not a minecraft.jar from your minecraft installation, but the jar launcher (which is also inconveniently named "minecraft.jar" ) from the minecraft.net: https://s3.amazonaws...r/minecraft.jar
Also, regarding the performance issues - try assigning the CPU affinity evenly, and lowering the graphics options. I've noticed that even the music and sound might cause a slowdown, so just to be sure try turning off both sound and music in ALL clients. For science . Last but not least, you can install Optifine on the one client that is using keyboard + mouse.
Hey, thanks for the great mod! But unfortunately I cannot use it yet because I have a Mac. The reason it doesn't work on a Mac yet is because you cannot run a bat file on Mac OS X. So can you try to develop a Terminal compatible file so us Mac users can use your AMAZING mod?
If you read some pages before, I posted how to run this mod in a Mac.
Hey thanks for the reply, but I think I already found out how to do it myself, but I am not exactly sure if it will work because I have not tried it yet, and I can't find your post on your way to use the mod on a Mac. What page is it on?
I just got your mod to run in my Mac Mini. I want to share how I did it, so anybody who wants to install it can do the same.
First of all, download you mod files, and run the portable installer to have minecraft installed in the mac (sorry for my english, but I am from Spain).
Now ready the joypad mod files in a folder and do the following:
Open Terminal (in other apps)
Type this code in the terminal:
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
Onced tiped, a new folder called "mctmp" will appear in your mac with all the contents of minecraft.jar.
Open the folder where you stred the files of the joypad mod, select them all and copy them to mctmp folder, overwriting.
Just run two instances of the game and play toguether using minecraft server, you just have to follow the instructions for the pc, which you can find in a really helpful videotutorial in the first page.
But how do you run the .bat file on Mac OS X? Can I use MultiMC?
Hi and thank you very much for this awesome mod !
But anyone can say me how I can navigate on the inventory ?
I have read the 32 pages of this topic but i don't have find it...
The inventory and the craft menu.
I can easily navigate on the menu with the D-Pad and select the options...
Thanks guys
In the updated version for 1.3.2 you can re-map the buttons for the d-pad,
to do this for the d-pad go to options; controller mapping; and change the
last four options that say GUI to the buttons on the d-pad. you might also
want to make sure you have buttons mapped to inventory and left/right click.

Make sure you install the mod with a fresh 1.3.2 jar, also make sure you've deleted the METAINF folder.
Sorry but i don't understand...
Can you simply show me how can i move objects on this picture
And here with which button i can select ?
Thank you for your help
In your second picture, click the button called GUI right once, then press the right button on the d-pad,
then do the same thing for GUI left (this time press the left button), GUI down (press down), and GUI up (press the up button). If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to try.
He has a job and a life. He probably can only work on the mod when he has free time. Idk if Freeshiny has kids, just give it some time. He might be waiting for 1.5 to one out.
This mod should be merged with CJB's work on the QuickCraft interface. Which very closely resembles the actual xbox 360 controller interface. I have yet to see a better solution for playing Minecraft with a controller than the official one, so it might be worth looking into.
CJB has discontinued his work on his mods but he released all source on his twitter.

that is a cool mod, but CJB has a lot of cheat like parts to it. If anything he should just make hes own in to the mod and not add it to someone else's mod.
I just wanted to hop in and inform you all that I'll be continuing my work on controller mod, for 1.4.x. Probably straight for 1.4.6
I'll be fixing the creative mode, and I also plan to investigate the force feedback possibility because I think it's a cool idea.
Any other ideas, besides custom crafting GUI (which is a possibility if I find more time) and the other mods compatibility (which I think is harder to achieve than it looks)? What would you like to see in my mod in the future? (Hint - fun features have priority, because I like fun, although you definition of 'fun' might differ from mine ;))
Yay! I was JUST about to unsubscribe from this topic because I got a ton of emails begging for updates, but no news
Thank you for continuing work on this.
High priority for me is compatibility with zombe mod, optifine, and worldeditCUI mod. If those work, I'm sold.
Please keep us updated and if you need any testers please PM me! I have minecraft in my steam list, and I use Big Picture mode in steam. If I could launch and use minecraft all with my xbox360 controller from steam. I'd be in heaven.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
[Not a noob, I started playing during infdev... Just didn't join the forums until much later]
Hey there Freeshiny, I'm really glad to see your still on board. I have a few ideas for the mod, some more fun than others...my ideas were, rumble (I saw that you were considering it), Pop-up Button Cues (Possibly like little nametags when you go near an item that requires interaction), and a GUI for typing commands or quick command menu. these are just my ideas, I am no coder, so I do not know how hard it might be to implement these features. I love your mod, please keep up the awesome work...

I think you mean to say dose everyone else the mouse for navigating the inventory?
The answer is no, this mod lets you use the d-pad to move the highlighting box around. So there is no need for the mouse.
