hey 1 prob, when i start the run.bat it start like normal.
but after loading a world it moves by itself like im pressing W+A
any solution?
oh and btw im using teh VZ-tek
Yes I can help you I believe. Well the reason of the portable version is to see the nice code stuff. So what you need to do is follow the directions here on how to create a portable version. Then just have it on your desktop. Run it with the mod, I'm not sure if you'll see the black window, if you don't that's fine. Follow the video to the part where you edit the options.txt guess on the number of your controller until minecraft runs.
No I don't think you understand my problem. I am using a MacBook Pro for Minecraft, and I want to use this split screen "mod." But the thing is I can't run the portable version of Minecraft because Mac OS X cannot run bat files, so I need another way to run the portable version of Minecraft on my Mac without using bat files. Can anyone please help me or can you revise your reply? Thanks so much!!!By the way, does anyone know if this mod works with a Classic Controller Pro for the Wii?
is it possible to use 2 keypads and 2 mouses? if so how? if not can u add it?
also if ur gonna add it can u make it so u can group the mouse and the keybord together as to make the 2 sets seperate but not confussing?

Actually I don't think you need to make a portable version at all. If you copy your minecraft folder to the desktop, apply the mod it should work. But since you dont have the black window just guess with the options.txt. Watch the video skip to the part where he edits that. The just try 1 then 2 then 3 and so on.
Just thought I'd let you know that I've been using and enjoying this mod a ton ever since I found your original blog post. Playing SMP on a dual-monitor setup with my little brother is a blast! Thanks for your work.
I also thought I'd contribute that you can make a portable version of minecraft for this mod pretty easily by doing the following:
- Copy your minecraft installation folder (from %appdata%, ~, or ~/Library/Application Support/) somewhere you'd like to run it portably
- Install the mod into that copy
- Get a copy of the Minecraft launcher jar
- WINDOWS: Make a batch file that sets the variable APPDATA to the directory containing the minecraft installtion folder, then launches the launcher jar
- UNIX/LINUX: Make a shell script that creates a symbolic link between the directory where the installation folder normally is and where it'll run portably, then launches the launcher jar
Hey freeshiny, I was just testing the creative menu when I got this crash. Here's the error report:

Well can I run Minecraft twice from the same .jar and use a controller for one and the keyboard for the other? That's why I need a portable version, because I think if I run two Minecrafts from the same .jar file it will make the controller control both Minecrafts, and I don't want it to do that. Will it do that?And again, can I use my Wii Classic Controller with this mod?

The mod is applied to one minecraft.jar. So it shouldn't. The mod makes it automatically take controls from the controller. The original minecraft should work perfectly fine. Apply the mod to the desktop copy. Then run the desktop minecraft an then the system minecraft. Get what I'm saying? You're not double clicking the .jar. You have two separate minecraft. Also I don't know if the classic controller would work. I wouldn't know how to connect that to the pc.
I'm looking for the ability to have sneak be held instead of toggle. I fly a lot as I'm an admin, but I let my wife use the KB and Mouse when I'm playing with her. Is there anyway to add this to the options.txt. Maybe also another button slot for on the fly toggling between held and toggle sneak? Being an admin is a little difficult when I'm flying and my chat box fills with sneak toggles.
Very very awesome mod you have here! I'm very happy to use it and this is a minor grievance. Thank you for your hard work!
I was adding some new features and hopefully a working graphical settings, and I'm probably skip the 1.2.5 version and release it straight for 1.3.
@DarkenStark
I'm glad you're enjoying my mod. I can add a held sneak, but I can also add an option to not print sneak and run output in chat. Which will suit you more?
@GoodaBrine178
How would I make my mod run on PSP when the Minecraft itself does not run on it?
@Gamer55567
This happens when you homehow exit the boundaries of a gui screen. I probably have a bug when controlling the index of the current item slot. Do you know exactly how to reproduce it? It would help a lot.
As for how to run it on Mac, I'm not entirely sure. I might try it on Linux and see how to make portable copy. If @suchipi is interesed in making a detailed instruction that would be great.
Can someone help me? Well I have a cracked minecraft and I dont have a premium minecraft. And I want to play with my brothers on minecraft but I dont have an account. So the fact that the batch file opens a minecraft launcher for premium users is hard. Is there a way to make a batch file to open a cracked minecraft? My problem is to make a different... "output" for the second cracked minecraft. Plus when ever I right click on a file it crashes windows explorer. I'm sorry if I took your time but if you can please help me.
I will be porting it to 1.3 along with adding new features, but I can't give an estimate.
To all looking for help with no premium account: asking for help on official forums won't lead you anywhere. I'm sure people with "pirated" copies have forums and other places to seek support.

How in the world does that happen?

Why would it? He hasn't made the usage for 1.3 yet. The next update is going to be compatiable for 1.3. He said he was working on it.
I want to do splitscreen on 1.3 because it has lan too so its easier.
