Hey Split, if you plan to have it so you can survive in the Nether, then why not have pyrite generate in the Nether? Also, is there anyway to configure the mod to change the item I.D.. There is another mod that has the same item I.D. as the pyrite chisel, and it is just pretty terrible. One more thing, how is the pestle and mortar coming?
To be completely honest, I haven't been working recently at all, although yes I was planning on making pyrite ore nether generating, along with some new 1.3 based things...(I hope trading isn't that hard to work with, because I want some things available for that to) And sure I guess I can change pyrite chisel's ID to something else, no problem.
Mortar and Pestle is coming along great, but I have to make it a complete block at the moment, because I'm extremely lazy and have not worked on the new models for it at all . Anyway, I will actually update the mod again when 1.3 and the modding API *FINALLY* get released, although I'm really not looking forward to rewriting the mod for it, it shouldn't take THAT long.
If anyone cares at all, I have an update for the amount of downloads for 1.3 and Nethertools:
1.3 = 290 Downloads
NetherTools = 81 Downloads
And, The dimension is coming along alright, but like I said, I'm focusing more on Splitbolt's BetterNether(SBN) than the Forbidden Realm(Thats the dimension name I decided upon.)

Anyway, on the topic of mortar in pestle, the actual potions are a WIP, but the ones you'll find in the next version most likely will not stay.
And, instead of wasting my time making the mortar and pestle a block, I think it would make most sense to make it an item that you right click with, although I'm somewhat worried that the items will be deleted upon closing the gui. Oh well, only one way to find out.

Yup, along with mortar and pestle and a few "Testing" potions, and of course firestone. I'm makin some changes to its recipe and soon you will be able to find it around in generated buildings. I dumped the idea of firestone tools though
Pheonix will get some fancy fire resistance abilities too. Always a good thing in the nether
Also, yeah Scornbark should be generating in the nether, along with Pyrite ore.
Scornbark sounds updated to be wood and leaves instead of all stone (I hadn't even noticed they were stone because I play with sounds off, but I realized and will fix this ). Firestone Battleaxe added (Powerful weapon.), and testing potions finished. These potions are meant to test the mortar and pestle itself, not for actual practical use. They are actually coded as food XD. Everything else I planned is still being added.

Mortar and Pestle, Fools Potion(Testing), Fire Resistance (Testing/Temporary), and Hunger restore potion(Testing/Temporary), and Nether Sludge(Similar to Charcoal, used for better "fuel" and will later be used for the new liquid (Whenever I get around to making it :/). Also, pyrite ore (Netherrack), and The pestle alone, and the mortar alone, and I have plans for some new firestone things. Oh, and while Im at it may as well throw in the Firestone Warhammer, firestone, scornbark (Dull) tools, and The Mortar and Pestle gui, and the fools block(Pyrite Block)
how about, to reduce compatibility issues even more, changing the "uk" class to something like" nethmod", or something that no other mod developer would use
I've actually been looking into this, although there's a reason many devs dont, it isnt exactly easy.
Also, my apologies for no updates, I'm pretty busy recently. Maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to work again.
