The armor texture is not working :/ this will be fixed extremely soon, probably tomorrow. Expect 1.2 very, very soon.

I dunno if it will be called 1.2 or if I should go all out and add it in with all the other 2.0 goodies(soon to come!) and make it a HUGE update. I also plan to have a new sort of crafting/furnace thing, (Mortar and Pestle) to grind stuff into dust and use it in alchemy/crafting. I might be able to add it all in by this weekend, we'll see. The new plants are twisted root used in awesome splash potions of flame, if I can. You will grind the fibers into dust for that purpose. And of course a new craftable sapling that will grow into.. ScornBark trees? is that a good name? anyway it adds new toolset and planks and the like. Both of which will grow on Soulsand, Most likely.
I think i'll abandon amethyst, I don't need more ores, plenty of other mods add them, no point in it really because it does not really fit in with the point of the mod. Although I will add in... Twisted apple using the dust from twisted root plants It'll have the fire resistance effect instead .
Split, can you give me a idea of the speeds and duribilitys of the weapons and armour? It would help a lot.
ScornBark tools will be faster than wood, same durability. It can mine everything that stone can.
Netherrack tools are their own thing, they break stuff a bit slower than iron, and break faster than stone. they can mine all that iron can.
Pheonix breaks stuff about as fast as gold, and lasts longer than diamond. It can mine all that diamond can.(the armor is acctually even to diamond, to give the mod more compatibility. It will have special abilities later)
Maybey I will leave it until v1.2/2. Just a suggestion, how about making refined netherack usable as a furnace fuel? ScornBark sounds great!

I think i'll change the recipe soon, by using like a pyrite chisel to get 1, then it could be used as fuel. I was also thinking that blaze shards could be used in torches, or some kind of blaze block that emits light.

Hmm... how bout a new liquid used to auto farm. Working on it as we speak. Mortar and pestle will most likely end up as alchemy bench or something, because adding in a interface will be much easier with it being a solid, placeable block. The idea will stay the same, where you use it to get dusts, or maybe you'll end up getting actual potions. We'll see.
NOTE: Will not replace lava, it will just serve as a replacement for water in autofarming.
EDIT: I have made my decision about how to update. It will be added in bit by bit, all updates finally leading up to 2.0, which will contain each feature than I mentioned before. The next update will be released this weekend, and contain a new way to get refined netherrack (Using a pyrite chisel) and also have refined netherrack as a fuel. Blaze torches will be added as well. (blaze rod and blaze shard). New liquid and scornbark coming next, with twisted root following after. Mortar and pestle will be final update.
Also, Amethyst has been fully abandoned, since it doesnt really make sense to have in this mod. I may add some sort of igneous material to the nether that can be made into new toolsets and the like, but most likely not for a while. I prefer the new nature/blocks, because it fits in to the overall goal of the mod.

Blaze torches are added in, a new torch that fits the blaze color scheme well, and is slightly brighter than a regular torch (Would be extremely bright, but cannot be because if it was, your game would crash )

There are leaves, and planks too! You can get them the same way you would regular wood!

You CANT bonemeal the sapling, much like you cant bonemeal nether wart. If the tree NEVER grows, tell me so I can fix it!!!
NOTE: There is a recipe for the sapling at the moment, although I may add it into the Hell biome's world generation. Let me know what you think I should do. I have not, because I think it would cause problems with compatibility, and also, the trees would often be generated near lava, which would burn them <.<
(Plus, its not very Nether-ish to have trees everywhere)

The sapling does have a small bug. After a while, the sapling will de-plant itself when it seems like it should have grown.
That is probably because you left it in the dark, the sapling will deplant itself. use glowstone or blaze torches for the best lighting, but a couple regular torches will do fine too.
Remember, any sapling in minecraft will refuse to grow in the dark, instead, they uproot themselves. The ScornBark is the same. Glowstone and blaze torches yeild the best results.
ProTip: The ambient light present in all of the nether does NOT effect light level. You have to adequately light your tree growing area.

tbh, I'd rather not move around my carefully placed(i.e. wherever there's room) block IDs, which could potentially ruin my current setup.
