Not a plugin because the only problem I had with the mod was that all of the players on my server needed it - I wanted to make something that I could plop on my server and have easily accessible by anyone. I have people that have played on it for a long time, and some can't get mods (for whatever reasons). I would feel terrible if I "kicked" them off just to add a mod.

But yeah, I've found a great java tutorial website and I actually believe that I can learn how to code and update this mod before the mod maker finishes his rework.
Trust me, it won't be easy - I tried and gave up after two weeks. It isn't even his code that makes the problem - forges code changed so drastically entire classes need to be rewritten. On top of this, the dependency (I forgot the name, but it was a core mod) stopped being updated, so the methods almost ALL the classes used were broken. There's a reason why they decided to remake it from scratch.
Well, they could have at least reused the assets from the original and some of the code that didn't depend on outdated base mods, instead of the mess they've got right now. I mean, I know it's heavily in development, but...
I'm trying to make a modpack for 1.6.4 that has ICBM, universal electricity (so radar stations and emp towers), and other mods like IC2. Currently I have no trouble with any of the mods, except for ICBM, because it is hard to find, and when I finally find a version, it is incompatible. Do you know a download page that actually has this ICBM version? Or any existing modpacks which use 1.6.4 ICBM so I can copy it from there?

However, this means having a version of forge of 1.4.2, and I don't know if that exists. Plus, finding mods for 1.4.2 will be hard, unless they existed for a long time, which is the case with flans mod(it existed even before 1.0 minecraft, the same with IC2)

It turns out I was able to get ICBM working. I got it onto a 1.5.2 version, along with other mods and basic components/atomic science installed. However, I encounter some problems.
First of all, configuring the maximum distance that missiles can travel will end fruitless; missiles will have a maximum range of 1km-2km, depending on the missile. I wanted to change this to 5km or 10km, but nothing happens.
Second of all, the crafting recipes don't change. You know how in voltz you use basic/advanced/elite circuits to craft stuff in ICBM, like launch pads? Well, I am stuck with using a redstone repeater instead, making it much easier and therefore less satisfying to create a launch pad. I was able to install these components via Galacticraft. I think I can fix this via MineTweaker, but for now I want to see if I can fix it normally.
And last but not least(or the worst), some blocks are missing. They are directly stated in the config files, but they don't appear in the game. Things like spikes and camoflauge. I think this might be because the config is leftover from another version, but I am unsure.
Copying the ICBM from voltz will just crash the game (version 1.2.1.172), but the one I luckily found on the internet works (version 1.2.0.84).
It turns out that apparently, version 1.2.1.172 files from Voltz (all three of them; explosion, construct and turret) are functional. I have the new blocks like camoflauge and turrets. However, now I encounter a problem; everytime I use a turret (fire a a railgun, or power a gun turret), the game crashes. The failure message says "ticking entity error". I just put in an infinite battery, and the game froze. Probably because the animation for turrets are missing, so trying to use them will crash the game.
Is there a solution to this? Could there be a fix to the crash? Is it a conflicting mod, or the lack of a mod required?
Can i add this to my semi public modpack, a pack im playing with friends that is available on twitch? They all are obbssed and would love to have missiles flying everywhere? Also the modpack's name is D-I-Y if you wanted to look at it. Thanks

I just want to revive some older mods. If it takes me to start developing this from scratch I will.

its only updated for mic 1.7.10 as far as i know, the devs ditched it
