Well, it's incompatible with King Korihor's Skyzone mod, but I got it working, and it's AWESOME!
I'll look into that one. If I can plow through this update, I'll see if I can help BlueMagic at least get this compatible with Forge and ModLoader... which will make this compatible with about 90% of the mods. That does take a bit of work to do though.

That's probably because my mod is incompatible with any mod that uses ModLoader or anything like that.
I've heard that the official modding api is postponed to 1.4, so I give up waiting for it; I'm going to teach myself how to use ModLoader.
I also plan to add a recipe adder block that works only for mod items. I won't be able to control how easy it is for people to make the items, so that will have to go by the honors system.
I know it's only been one day, but beta 1.1 of this mod is released.
Update notes:
-This mod is now compatible with (and requires) ModLoader!
--Fixed the empty tool-tip bug for the multi-purpose block.
-You may now craft a multi-purpose block back into two iron blocks.
I had Modloader installed before and there were no problems...
Then again, it was just Modloader, no mods xP
You did mention having a problem with the skyzone mod after you downloaded this mod. Now that this uses ModLoader, you should be able to use skyzone... tell me if it still doesn't work though.
Has anyone found any bugs yet (especially for the multi-purpose block)? Or is my coding really that flawless?
Meanwhile, the official release of this mod has been delayed, because I have thought of another idea. Here is a sneak-peak of what is to come in beta 2.0:
I haven't had much time to test this, but I encountered a bit of a glitch where the Renewable Resources mod was overridden by other Modloader mods, all of them Risugami's. It may have been a glitch on my computer, Imma reinstall everything.

What. The. F**k. Is. That.
Is it like a super-duper ultra mega multipurpose block made from iron, gold and diamonds ingots/gems or blocks?
Hm, that's strange. I'll try some random thing to fix that in the next version (not sure if it will work or not).
You're right about what that block is made of (iron, gold, and diamond blocks), but it also requires another ingredient.
The one flaw with my mod is that it does not necessarily make mod items renewable. This block is what will be a recipe adder. It will let people make a single recipe for each mod item, and does not work for vanilla items or the blocks this mod adds. I realize that people could just make really easy recipes, but if someone downloads this mod in the first place, I'll assume they wouldn't want do that. All recipes will added will be for the construction table.
diamond should be renewable as well so you should consider adding this into your list of things you need to do
anyway awesome mod but it needs diamond.

Read the first post a bit more carefully. You might be surprised that this isn't on the "things to do", and why it isn't.
The glowstone recipe is shapeless.
What, you don't understand the recipe for glowstone? Here's an explanation:
Hopefully, you know that the formula for glucose is C6H12O6. Well, we will assume that the sugar in Minecraft is glucose. Sugar combusts with the formula C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6H2O + 6CO2. Oxygen is everywhere, and the fire provides the activation energy needed for the reaction. The water produced douses the remaining fire, and the carbon dioxide reacts with redstone to produce a mysterious powder that can capture energy and store it as light. Because the combustion reaction is exothermic, this mysterious powder captures the energy released. The yellow dye makes it yellow.
Diamond is too easy to get, a double blaze spawner will get you 64 blaze rods in maybe 10 minutes. Getting a diamond every 15 minutes is just ****ed up. (obviously charcoal is easy to get)
Maybe require something else, like 4 stacks of stone or something?

Well, the thing is, diamonds aren't actually hard to get, but are actually tedious. Four stacks of stone is actually easier; all you need to do is stand in front of a cobblestone generator without any risk of dying. For blaze spawners, at least there's some danger, and it takes quite some effort to set up a farm. I know it's not a great solution, but so far, it's the best I've thought of.
Edit (unrelated to the quote): Chiseled stone bricks are available in the new snapshot now? Time to find a balanced way to make it renewable...
THANK YOU!

Version 2.1 now updated for MC 1.6.2

I'll give it a 9/10
PS I'm not judging
So soon after I made this mod...
Anyways, I now have an additional goal for this mod: to make villager trading unnecessary.
