Doesn't Overpopulate the ores.
This mod allows you to create tools out of Opal, Jade, Red Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Dragonstone, Onyx, Copper, Tin, Bronze, Steel, Silver, Mithril, Adamant, Rune, Bone, Brick, Clay, Coal, End Stone, Flint, Glass, Netherrack, Obsidian, Redstone, Sandstone, and Wood(not planks). You can also create storage blocks and armor out of all of the gems and ingots. To create Redstone tools you must smelt Redstone dust into Redrock which you use to craft tools, you can also smelt Clay tools into Brick tools. I plan on adding more. If you have any ideas of things to add or things to change let me know, also if you like or dislike the mod let me know. Smelt an Iron Ingot to get a Steel Ingot. To make a Bronze Ingot, put one Copper Ingot and one Tin Ingot in the crafting grid. Please comment suggestions. Also if you think a tool is too good or bad, or if an ore is too common or rare, or something like that, tell me what you think it should be.

Thanks I just learned how to mod a few days ago and spent all day yesterday working on it and as long as people like it I will continue to add to it. I have a lot of plans but I would really like for people to let me know what they would like to see in this mod or what to change.
Could you please make it for Rigusami's ModLoader?

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
No, installation requires dragging the files into your minecraft.jar.

Oh I see. Yes that is a problem I have noticed, I will try to fix it or if anyone else could figure out a way to make it work that would be great, but for now it will crash if you try that.
but any ways i heard inficraft did something like this so nothing too original but nice try though if this is your first mod
yes inficraft is similar but much more developed and there are many other mods similar to this but i just learned how to mod and this is my first and I plan on developing this along with the help of peoples suggestions into something unique and fun.

maybe perhaps you could ditch making new tools as its been done plenty of times before perhaps if you improve your modding skills you could make my dream mod. A mod that could allow you to do something with the dragon egg you get from the enderdragon i just feel bad having it sitting in my chest with nothing to do now that would be fairly original but for a new modder your doing a fairly decent job and I'll bookmark this post to see how your going to do

I actually think I remember seeing a good looking mod that said it gave a purpose to the dragon egg but I didnt look into it because I've never made it as far as getting to the End in survival(not that I couldn't if I tried ). I unfortunatley don't remember the name of it.
Do the new tools have any sort of special properties, or just different durrability and strength?
Also how do they compare to the vanilla tools? I imagine some are obvious such as glass or leaves, but still curious how they all compare to their vanilla counterparts.
Also, this looks pretty cool, and congratulations on the start of your modding, even if new tools mods are common, you have to start somewhere, right?

The tools don't have any special properties, I think If I add any sort of special properties it will be specific to that item and not a pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, or sword. I will leave that to the enchanting system already in place. But if I add special properties it will be item specific like a magical staff or something like that.

That would be nice if you could make a mod review, that was the first video I've made and I'm not used to talking for a video so I just sound weird.
It is.

I may add that but my next project is ores and gems.
