A Mod That Adds a New Bow(s) - But With the Old Feel of Original Bows
Hey guys, today I am bringing you a new mod I made. It is the rapid fire bow mod. For those of us who played before 1.8, the new bow mechanics might be a bit of a shock to us. They used to be semi automatic. Really realistic. But this is Minecraft so it doesn't matter. Either way, they changed how the bows worked and now I am bringing you a mod that brings that feel back again.
Update Notes:
The new version adds two new bows, the AutoBow (Fully Automatic Version!) and the FireBow (Semi-Auto flaming version).

The diamonds are to strengthen the bow so it does not snap under the pressure of rapid arrow firing action! (And to balance it slightly )
You can install this mod simply by adding the zip folder to the mods folder!
This mod installs like any other mod. Details are in the readme file included! NOTE: This mod require modloader and uses the item IDs 554, 555, 557, just a heads up so there are no ID conflicts!

So far so good guys, over 112+ downloads! Keep the feedback coming! It really makes me feel like my mod is helping people. I'm working on a really awesome adventure map right now, I'll be posting it when it is done!
The bow's durability is the same as the default bow. The diamonds strengthen it, which would make it stronger, but the stress from rapid fire equalizes this so it remains the same durability over all.
Oh BTW it works fine when you drag the zip into the mods folder
Yes, I realized that after I uploaded it. But the mods folder doesn't work with my other mod, time control remote. I think it is because this mod doesn't overwrite any class files but the TC Remote mod does.
Anyone know how to add enchantments with modloader? I would rather not have to edit default classes. I plan on adding an enchantment that makes the bow fully automatic!
It is compatible with this one too! Slow motion rapid fire ninja matrix style bow wielding creeper pwnage. That is what happens when you combine these two mods!
