I can't stand how aggro Creepers are, but Creepers no Creeping seems a little intense... I'd like a mod that made them passive at in low light levels or only aggro in daylight (my rationalisation: They need light to charge up and go boom)... I say they can still do small booms when attacked.
That with the fears water thing is perfect in my opinion.
EDIT: Heck, I'd just like Creepers to spawn A LOT less frequently.... I mean Creepers should be surprising and special. I'd love for them to be harder to kill but also really rare.
I'm JeffAlan66 from YouTube. I saw your response from last night to my comment on YouTube. You asked me to leave my email address to receive a priviate link to get CNC. I really appreciate this. My 10 year old daughter enjoys Minecraft with me, but Creepers ruin it for her. Thanks again. My email is [email protected]
I personally like your other related mods when playing by myself. I see you are still updating for 1.4.2. I'll be watching for the updates. It looks like 1.4.4 is getting ready to release.
Hey guys, yes I know there a lot of issues still revolving around the download links and the code with creepers not being aggressive. The thing is that the code has changed a lot from 1.2.5 to 1.3, then again from 1.3 to 1.4 and its taking me some time to figure out how to get certain things to work correctly.
Note that this is still the 1.4.2 version and yes I know 1.4.4 will be released this week and I will try to have EVERYTHING updated within the next 2 weeks but I am really busy running my own business so I work a lot and I also like to get some playing time in myself.
Thanks for letting me know my forum post is linking to the video.
I have successfully updated CreepersNoCreeping to 1.4.4 but I have not yet uploaded it as I want to run some extra tests first. I did figure out the problem with why Creepers were not aggressive anymore and fixed it.
I also developed a completely new mod in which bats will now drop leather when you kill them.
I hope I don't have any more problems with Mediafire!
Sorry Snowing, but when I was running into problems with Mediafire my older versions of CnC got deleted. This is why you get errors because the files no longer exist. Why hven't you updated yet? Are their still mods that you use that havent' updated yet or something?
Yes. Same problem for the not-mod-writers: There are too many mods in too different versions and the MC versions come and come. At the moment I play at 1.4.2 and already know that I will have to reinstall "my" 30 mods in the next weeks. I hope Mojang will calm down after some releases. The game is pretty good. Bugfixes are welcome. But for each bugfix a new version? Seems oversized.
I agree. Bugfixes are welcome, but I believe the majority of the problem is the new bug fix ticket website they made. People keep submitting bugs to Mojang so they feel priority one obligated to suffice the community which is good, but overall I think some of these lesser bugs can just wait until 1.5.
I'm not sure what you may have done then friend. I am using both of my mods right now as I type and they work no problems and I am running them alongside like 10 other mods as well, so I know they work. You may have downloaded the wrong version.
