Started looking into updating to 1.7.2 today. But it's basically impossible until MCP and FORGE and working together again. I can setup the Forge workspace no problem, but since MCP isn't integrated yet with the deobfuscated code, I have too many ID errors until MCP is integrated.
I been thinking long and hard and I came to a few decisions:
1. I am scrapping MorphCore for now, who knows it may turn into something else later. But I was reading over my visions for my mods and I always wanted to keep things simple. That's just the way I am. I started to veer from that vision too much lately with MorphCore and it causes problem after problem. So I have taken it completely apart tonight and integrated all of my reusable stuff into each mod separately. What this means for you, is that starting with newer versions of my mods, you will no longer need MorphCore to use them.
2. I recently started allowing people to use my mods in modpacks without permission so long as they give credit where credit is due. I am less than one year away from graduating college with my Computer Science degree and I think back on my long journey in programming and just general knowledge. I have decided to upload my mods to GitHub and make the source code freely available for anyone to use for whatever reason. Minecraft is a great game, and overall Forge makes Minecraft in itself a powerful Java learning tool and experience. I would like to give back to the community in this tiny way by letting others use and access my source code and maybe someone might decide to learn programming through this simple mods.
So like I said in number 1, I have already taken out MorphCore in the most recent version of my mods--but I haven't uploaded those versions yet. Need to tweak a few more things first. Look for it this weekend when I post a new update.
I wanted to say thank you, for the "Bats Drop Leather!" mod, Morpheus. I've hated Bats ever since they were added in, because of how useless, annoying, and downright obtrusive they were... and then my friend added a Bukkit plugin to his server, that added custom drops to Bats (and other mobs), making them actually useful... but, unfortunately, only on his server.
After finding two of those winged rats in my Nether Wart farm this morning (squeaking and flapping around all over the place), I decided to see if there was a mod to make them either stop spawning, or give them use... I don't know how I never found your mod before now, but I'm digging that Bats actually have a use again. So, thank you.
I was curious as to whether or not you can further customize the configuration file for BDL, to include more than XP, Leather, and Melon Seeds. I tried adding the line "B:DROP_COOKED_BEEF=true" to the file, and while it moved it up to the top of the list (I had placed it below "B:DROP_MELON_SEEDS=true", and it moved after I closed the client), I didn't see any Cooked Beef dropping... and I was using a Diamond Sword with Looting Lv. 127. I tried both during the daytime, and at night (since I know you have to wait until night, for Melon Seeds to drop from your Bats), but no results... even when I disabled the original drops in the configuration file.
If it's not possible to add custom drops, may I humbly request this as a feature (if it's not too much work)? I really enjoyed getting raw Beef and the occasional Bone, while playing on my friend's server, and would love that experience in single player.
I also wonder if you removed the "Bats can be bred and led with Seeds" feature... since I can't seem to get the Bats to follow me, or mate.
Anyway, thank you again, and I hope my request isn't too bothersome.

I'll be crediting the owner of this mod [MorphCore, Creepers No Creeping, Bats Drop Leather] in my mod pack. Vote here on this site if you like along with the server sided mods.

AND
Comment: This helps fix mobs in a way that should be. But not quite I think that a bat can drop leather. lel
